i feel like the old nidalee should be brought back just because she was so much fun to use. when i use the new nidalee it just makes me mad because it makes me remember all the fun times i had with nidalee when she was op. PLEASE BRING THE NIDALEE SPEARS BACK

what i mean is that i prefer ap nidalee over ad nidalee 100 times over and with the new patch, the ap damage on the spears have been reduced significantly and is no longer fun

Her spears still hurts, and with that passive, her output damage is even more significant.

She's still a whore champ and is toxic to this game. You land 2 spears and you win a team-fight. She has no weaknesses other then an entire team's CC train. She's ridiculously overpowered unfun and unfair to play against when all it takes for her to even the trades and outplays you've performed on her countless times is a couple of heals and a spear.

Don't like getting hit by spears? Get boots or a item 3102 . She does have weaknesses, but you have to outplay her.

Nidalee is a poker/assassin. In teamfights, her role is to whittle down enemy teams with her spears before the teamfight starts, then dive the carries to pick up kills. Her poke is very strong, so you kind of have to account for that. Like maybe instead of sitting and letting her poke you, you should engage sooner rather than later. You can't just let her toss spears at you all day and expect to win the teamfight. The way to win against nid is to engage as soon as possible, and go aggressively. If you do that, your team is still healthy enough to win the fight because you don't get poked down by spears beforehand.

As for "No weaknesses," while her diving ability is very strong, her escape ability is extremely lacking. She has no slows and her escape gap closer only has half the range of her engage gap closer. That means that once she jumps in, she can only jump half that distance trying to get out. Snare her or silence her when she jumps, because that's when she's weakest, and kill her then.

Like I said before, you have to start teamfights quickly to win against her. You cant try to poke the enemy team down before you all in or you will guaranteed lose the all in. Against nid, you have to all-in right away. Additionally, if you're AP, you should get zhonyas against her. Unless she's about 7/2, she can only instakill somebody if she hits a spear on them. So, go mid, rush zhonyas. Then, in a teamfight, bait her Q out and let it hit you. When she jumps, mash your item 3157 and watch all her damage go completely away. Then all you have to do is let your team kill her, and if she can't kill you to get the CD reset on her W, she will get destroyed, end of story.

She's not nearly as bad as people make her out to be. Seriously. Pre-rework nidalee could 100-0 a carry with a single spear. The AP ratio at max range was at least 200 but I think it might have been as high as 250. Still wanna talk about an un-fun champ to play against?

A lot of what you just said is simply untrue. I don't know what games you've been watching but her escape is ridiculously good. It's low cooldown and no mana and has the ability to jump through most walls in the game/map. Did you forget she too can use this item called zhonyas hourglass? Did you forget that by the time her zhonyas hourglass duration has completed that her escape will be ready and available once again? Did you not see the release of Luden's Echo which btw a fantastic item on her which gives her move speed she doesn't really need since she's already stupid safe, additional burst damage she doesn't need. It's an item that's amazing in and out of cougar form and will get you multiple procs of the items passive by poking or ripping their face apart. Transform more spells more uses of echo passive.

The 7% move speed makes her ridiculously hard to catch. What you did was oversimplify an issue and give the hypothetical solution to the hypothetical problem of nid being so bad that she's just miraclously going to let you catch her out of position in the backline. All you said was wait for a bad nidalee to make a horrible mistake not be aware of your items or the position of enemies. Bait the nidalee? LMAO. Tell me how many nidalees in higher elo do you think are going to let that happen. Like seriously, Do the Nidalee's you play against not utilize blue buff? Not buy mana and cooldown reduction items? I'm telling you when I play that champion I poke em down, make em suffer and make sure that with the crazy arsenal that riot allows this champion to have that I don't die.

Her old playstyle still exists is still very strong and is still dependent on you widdling down the enemy team with spears. Before with old Nidalee your suggestion would actually work. She wasn't so obnoxiously safe and had a higher skill cap. Anyone who tells me otherwise hasn't tried wall hopping in Nid's previous iteration.

Nidalee takes skill now, and you actually have to dive the enemy team and get in a dangerous position, unlike old pre-rework nid that could literally 100-0 a carry with a single spear.
