I think it would be beneficial for everybody to add a loud repeating notification sound when you have to ban and lock in.

Don't make me listen to excess noise because you can't pay attention to the game you're playing.
It would only be excess noise if you were not to ban or lock right away. Then again they can make an option to disable that if it's causing a sensitivity to your ears.
