To start off, this is my first character concept. Some values have not been plugged in; others can use some work, but I have put some time into creating a character that might fit into an AD support role, rather than your cliche support champions.

Please leave any comments below, I will appreciate feedback!

Dr. Wylde, "The Geneticist"

Doctor Wylde is the byproduct of a madman’s experiment gone terribly right. A leading Geneticist throughout his career in research and development, he was invited to address the scientific community when he received a false letter stating that he was to accept an award for outstanding achievement from the Yordle Academy of Science & Progress. It was too late when he realized that he had been selected for a new experiment. Doctor Wylde was kidnapped by a group of Zaunites who brought him to Zaun to test their subject. Doctor Wylde lay sedated for weeks as surgery after surgery were performed on him. After nearly a month of grueling pain, Doctor Wylde was aroused, yet what he saw he did not like: for aside from his most necessary Yordle innards, he had been transformed into a monster from many creatures.

Three days of painful recovery later, Dr. Wylde was feeling better than he ever had, much to the surgeons’ surprise. Needless to say, Dr. Wylde had his revenge. On the day of his display, he was set free by a large green humanoid glob by the name of Zac, who disappeared just as he had come through a grate in the wall. Not a single person left that building alive.

The Doctor discovered that he retained the normal functionalities of his former yordle self, yet he decided to remain in Zaun rather than returning home. In choosing to stay, Wylde adopted the name “The Geneticist” as a vigilante of justice, using his academic mind alongside his new body in order to wash the grime out of the streets. While on the trail for Dr. Mundo, he soon found that the brute had been summoned to the League of Legends. Unwilling to let that sociopath cause more pain to others, The Geneticist took off. When questioned, rumors say that he answered that he had come to avenge his own life. Note: Dr. Wylde wears a tattered white lab coat, lizard-like claws, a falcon’s head, and horse-like hind quarters.

Passive: The Geneticist Scar: After killing or assisting an ally Champion kill an enemy Champion, that Champion becomes Scarred. Harpoon now can lock onto that target and can travel over other units. (No cost, no cooldown)

Q: Dr. Wylde leaps in any direction, becoming untargetable while in midair. If he lands near an enemy champion, increase move speed by 15% and Basic Attack damage by 15/20/25/30% for 5/6/7/8 seconds. (15 second cooldown)

W: Harpoon: Dr. Wylde shoots a harpooned chain in a direction. If struck, enemy champion takes 50/80/110/140+(15%AD) attack damage, loses 5/10/15/20% Armor and is rooted for 1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds. Each attack against the rooted champion reduces movement speed by 5% (Max of 30/35/40/45%), decaying over 4 seconds of not being struck. (15/14/13/12 Second Cooldown)

E: Adrenaline Rush: After charging for 3/2/1/0 seconds, Dr. Wylde releases a horrendous war cry that causes nearby ally Champions to enter a state of Adrenaline Rush, increasing basic attack range by 10/15/20/25 feet (Ranged Champions only), and critical hit chance by 5/15/20/25% for 8 seconds. (30/25/20/15 sec cooldown)

R: Rage fills Dr. Wylde against an enemy champion as he selects a new target and his skill cooldowns are completely refreshed. Passive: The first basic attack against a newly Scarred champion deals 100% AD as True Damage and heals for 100/200/300/400 Health. (60/50/40 seconds cooldown)

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Please leave any remarks below. I expect this to use a lot of work in order to balance it. I have put a lot of thought into creating skills that were perhaps similar to other champions, but still retained very unique qualities that would require completely different play styles.

The kit has some interesting elements. It could use some tuning though. With his passive and the root + slow duration of his harpoon, this champion would snowball absolutely insane. If he gets a kill on a champion, there is almost no coming back for him (especially with his ult dealing additional damage and healing him, too). But I like the general concept of the harpoon, if you drag down the root duration, it would be a nice game mechanic.

The character design.... I can't stand it. You are describing some kind of genetical chimera created by a scientist. When it comes to lore, that is exactly the same niche Warwick just got with his rework. Meanwhile his appearance seems strange to me....

I would like if you think about the kit again while completely scrapping the character design and think of something else....
