Malz Idea?

A lot of people are unhappy that malzahar still had a point and click suppression. I was thinking you could make his ult instead be a laser somewhat similar to Vel'Koz and the first enemy champion hit is suppressed. So this way he could still have his suppression but it would take better positioning and a little more brain power? Thoughts?
