My first shot at properly designing a league champion! I'm aware that some of the numbers might be a bit overloaded, i'm not too good with maths and balancing. Hope you enjoy it! (I have written some lore on the character but feel it's a bit too long for the post so i'll put it in the comments.

Authors Brief I like to class Sofia as a ‘Reactive Protection Mage’. Her abilities and playstyle revolve around helping allies whenever they need it and hopefully having the right tool for the right moment. Her Q, Aerius, can be used to help an ally kite an enemy assassin by displacing them. Her W, Brackio, is great poke during the laning phase or an excellent tool to help your adc win a crucial trade or to simply up their dmg output. Her E, Pixiu, is a great survival spell that really helps to keep her allies alive really solidifying her role as a support. Her ultimate ability is what really defines Sofias reactive protective style. She can jump to an ally saving them from an ezreal ult that might have just killed them, followed by movement speed to run or re-enter the fight.

Kit Passive: Gain 5% movement speed whilst moving away from nearby enemies. If out of combat for 25 seconds gain Lenience.

Lenience: When this unit is attacked the attacked is knocked directly away from them.

Q: Starlit Fortitude - Cast on a nearby ally and they will be protected by Aerius. They gain +5/10/13/16/18 Armour and +13/18/24/26/30 Magic Resist for 3 seconds. Target ally gains Lenience .

W: Brackio Shot - Send an AoE skillshot through any unit that buffs allies and damages enemies. When the affected ally will have 100% attack speed for 2 auto attacks. Enemies hit will take 40/70/100/140/190 magic damage (+ 40% AP).

E: Pixiu - Shield an ally for 40/60/80/100/120 (+ 15% AP) for 2 seconds. The target heals 100% of the damage the shield takes.

R: Mercy - Sofia jumps to target ally putting them both in stasis for 1.5 seconds. During this time she restores 10% maximum health +50/100/150 HP (+ 20% AP) to the ally and granting them both 20% movement speed for 2 seconds.

This is the first draft of lore :) Probably doesn't stick to cannon was mostly for fun. let me know if you have any ideas to make it better or know that this wouldnt work in the lore for whatever reason :)

Lore The sand burned her feet as she ran, kicking up golden clouds that sparkled in the sunlight. Her skin was dark, her eyes teal and wide with curiosity and determination. She had seen it, it must have been him. She reached the peak of the dune and saw the creature rolling away. Aha! She thought, It wasn’t a god after all it was just a creature of the sands. She threw herself off the dune and slid down gaining distance on the thing. It must have noticed her as it sped up leaving nothing but a trail in the sand. Sofia smirked as she noticed it and followed it. She followed the trail until there were stars in the sky. She knew her Father would be angry but she was a smart girl and knew that her father did unlawful things. She wrapped her cloth around her as the desert grew colder and the mountains of targon slowly presented their shadow. Before long, and inevitably, she found herself lost. She was not used to all this rock and grassland and she began missing the sands of her home. Before she knew it days and weeks had passed and her childlike curiosity over a creature became replaced with an unknown sense of purpose. Her thoughts and memories became lost as this journey consumed her life. She spent years of her life wondering the wilds of Targon. She grew a knack for helping those in need, tending to livestock, healing the wounded and guiding the lost. On her travels she was given gifts from all around Targon. Her most treasured gift was a book filled with blank pages paired with a set of ink quills. Every night she would find a place to lay under the stars and drew what she saw. In shurima some of the elders used to talk about the stars and how they were filled with celestial beings with immense power. Something felt right about it. In her spare time she would connect the dots in her starscapes creating animals. One constellation she drew looked like a geat rams head. Another looked like a an ancient Brackern. Another looked like a fish curling round in a circle. She named them; Aerius, Brackio and Pixiu. She was wandering the rocky landscape tonight rather than drawing in her book. She had filled every page with star drawings and star maps that she almost felt lost. In the distance she heard an enormous crack followed by tremors, falling rocks and screams. She bolted to the sound of fear, vaulting rocks and crawling through small gaps. She saw them, a caravan of traders, defenseless against the avalanche of rocks. She looked up to the stars and the Aerius constellation seemed to glow. She felt it’s presence and urged it to help them. The area around them was filled with stars and a celestial ram pushed away the rocks so that the traders were free of harm. The traders thanked her for saving them and offered her food which Sofia accepted happily. The commotion had attracted a pack of mountain cougars. All of the traders looked to Sofia for help and she froze not really knowing what to do. She looked to the stars for guidance. The constellation of Brackio light up the night sky and she willed it to protect the traders once again. Stars swirled around her and shot towards the hungry cougars making them snarl before retreating to the shadows. She agreed to help the traders reach their destination as it was a long and treacherous road to be travelling during the night. An hour or so passed before another disaster struck and it opened Sofias eyes to how much hurt there really was in the world. A young man had slipped and fallen into a gorge, a rock landing on his arm. He was bleeding to death and she didn’t anything fast he would die. She bandaged him up the best she could but it wasn't enough. Once again she looked to the stars to help this dying innocent and once again they replied with mercy. The gorge glowed pink as tiny stars materialised around them and the Pixiu constellation flew into the man’s chest, healing all of his wounds. Before the traders settled down for the night they sat around the campfire telling stories. Sofia had told of how she left Shurima and started her quest to help all that she could. All of the stories the traders told where those of legendary figures trying to reach the peak of mount targon. There were many theories of what lay at the top but Sofia suspected none of them true. She enjoyed the stories of greatness but felt for those that had sought greatness atop the mountain but found only death. Months passed and she grew to become known and loved by all those who lived in Targon. Well… almost all. One day she was walking through a canyon lined with the familiar circled stone when a figure stepped out in front of her from seemingly nowhere. He was completely covered in bundles of cloth and carried a long staff that he nimbly held in one hand. The young man’s voice was smooth and confident. “And finally we meet. You have a been a pain for too long Sofia.” She glanced at the sides of the canyon and behind her seeing the shadows shift around. The figure only laughed at this. “Yes, i am not alone. Before i kill i will enlighten you. Simple murder is not how we operate. This area of Targon and eventually all of Targon will belong to us. See, there are people above me who would simply adore reaching the top of that mountain and gaining the powers that the stars hold. Speaking of stars…” He said, speaking possibilities as if they were certainties. “How did you obtain your powers?” Sofia stayed silent. Her teal eyes narrowing into a frown. He smirked, pushing a dark lock of hair out of his face. “Hmph. Silence it is.” He leapt from where he was stood towards Sofia. Midair he flicked his staff that expanded a long blade out one edge. Sofia dodged out the way of his strike only to have to quickly parry the next. The man was a skilled fighter. He managed to kick Sofia in the gut sending her into a sprawl. A dozen soldiers jumped out from behind rocks armed with swords. She called upon the stars to defend her and pushed her hands outward. The dozed soldiers were struck by celestial rams, launching them away from her. The figure laughed almost in hysterics. “Pathetic!” He exclaimed slamming his blade into the neck of one of his downed followers. Sofias eyes widened, she almost felt the pain of the poor soldier. Anger started to boil in her and she advanced with a grunt. She called upon Pixiu to help the wounded soldier while she walked towards the leader. He laughed arrogantly once again. “Fool! Don’t you get it. You cannot win this! This is more than you. After i dispose of you i can easily claim this area for Noxus. Afterall, what is a simple farmer going to do against my blade! I will be the one to kill you, i will be the one to claim this land for Noxus and i will be the first Noxian to reach the top of Mount Targon claim the power of the aspects and through strength i will-” The man arrogance was his demise, Sofia silenced him with an uppercut by her staff. She started running, she had no intention of killing this man. She was halfway up the canyon wall when the figure woke up again. She could tell because she started hearing the screams of his followers as he hacked them apart. This man was truly filled with malice. She jumped from the side of the canyon with utter faith, calling upon the stars once again in a triumphant effort to help those bleeding. All of the soldiers were cured of their wounds and managed to run away. The figure was about to speak but she spoke louder. “Shut up! I don’t care for your Noxian arrogance of your war preaching. No matter who you are or who you stand with i will not let harm come to the people here.” The man was ready to strike her so she jumped calling forth Brackio. She sent a beam of stars into him causing a bright explosion, throwing him from his feet.”You do not come here. If you do you will regret it.” She saw that the man was in no real pain so simply left him there as she sprinted off. This was dire news, she thought as she ran. She was already listing people in her head of who to tell of the coming invasion.

I like the general design of the kit tho I have a few questions:

Lenience: Is this a one time thing? like it blocks a single auto and then it's gone? If it blocks let's say Ashe ult, does the ult fizzle away or still able to hit a target but is just redirected?

That 25 seconds out of combat for her passive is way too much for later parts in the game. I would change it to: 30/20/10 seconds based on R levels or let the passive get affected by CDR

Q: Is Lenience active for the whole 3 seconds (always refreshing)? if yes then thats too strong

R: The wording here is kinda confusing, im guessing they get the movementspeed after the stasis not during the stasis?

Btw 10/10 ability names: Aerius / Aery - Pixiu / Pixie ^^ also nicely written lore, I liked it!

Great design, best one I seen in long time, imo Just would recommend few changes.

Passive: As @Nelogis mentioned, 25 sec out of combat is too much, would change it to 25-20-15 seconds of being undamaged.

Q: All good but bit weak reward for ranking it up, I would move MS boost from R to this, giving 10% move speed per rank for 0.5 or 0.75 sec

W: Great, but AS boost is bit too big early, would change it to scaling per level (1-18), from 20% to 120%

E: All ok, but name Pixiu is bit too close to Lulu Pixie :/

R: If you want it as reaction skill, reduce its duration, to 0.5 or 0.75, rest is ok (thou enemy could find heal bit cancerous, maybe reduce it a bit) This is really great champ design, and please don't take my notes personally :) One up for you and Lore!
