Larrag, The Hidden Guru
On the Ionian mountain range of Rahasya, there exists a commune of yogis who if asked; would tell you about their beloved and legendary guru, Larrag. It is said that Guru Larrag lives in a mystical garden hidden within a mountain crevice. He is one with the astral plane, brining wisdom to all who seek it and visiting them in their dreams. Though he himself is not a fighter, his teachings have inspired warrior and pacifist alike. There are many paths to enlightenment, and Larrag knows them all.
Stats Health: 200(+20) Attack Damage: 0 Health Regen: 5.1(+345) Attack Speed: 1(+1%) Mana: 100(+40) Armor: 30(+100)
- Mana Regen:* 5.5(+80) Magic Resistance: 25(+4.5) Range: 300(Range) Mov. Speed: 360
Decided to switch around the values of his armor and magic resistance, felt it more fitting of a mystical guru like Larrag to have a higher resistance to a spell at lvl 18 than he does a sword./ With the 4.20 update, I've altered Larrag's base stats accordingly. People who are better at math are asked to alert me if the stats seem underpowered and/or overpowered.
Passive: Nirvana Larrag and any ally tagged with enlighten gain additional armor & magic resistance equal to Larrag's remaining mana. They both also earn 1 experience point every 20 seconds (Minus Larrag's current level) as well as 1% additional experience from kills and assists.
Noticed that without any attack damage, Larrag would have to rely on assists in order to gain experience. Which neither sounds very fun or thematic to a guy who whole shtick IS learning, so i gave him a way to accomplice this while keeping the core gameplay idea in tact. / Decided to increase experienced gained from kills and assists. / Changed the experience amount gained since the only other source of xp bonus in the game in in decimals. So 5% sounded OP.
Q: Enlighten CD: 15/25/35/45/55 MC: 15%/20%/25%/30%/35% Range: 600 Passive- Larrag's Basic attacks on champions steal 2%/4%/6%/8%/10% mana. Active- Larrag whispers words of wisdom to a target ally champion, tagging it for the remainder of Enlighten's cooldown. Larrag's mana steal is reduced by half during this time. Astral Form: Larrag's mana steal is instead increased by half during Enlighten's cooldown.
Reduced the mana steal on his Enlighten because it seemed a little op considering he does 1 attack per second at lvl 1/ ok now I'm satisfied with the mana steal./Added a bonus for while Larrag is in his astral form.
W: Reflect CD: 10/15/20/25/30 Range: 550 Passive- While Larrag's remaining mana is at 100%/90%/80%/70%/60% or more, his health regeneration is increased by his mana regeneration. Active- Larrag depletes his remaining mana to heal allies in range by that much. Astral Form: Reflect's passive grants mana regeneration while health low instead. Larrag depletes his health to heal allies.
I added the "or more" part to further clarify what the passive does. I feel like I should completely change this ability, but it seems fine the way it is. Any suggestions./Added a bonus for while Larrag is in his Astral form
E: Mind's Eye CD: 20/20/30/30/40 MC: 12/24/38/50/62 Range: 400 Passive- Larrag has 5%/10%/20%/25%/30% increased vision. Active- Larrag opens his mind's eye. For the next 2/2/4/4/5 seconds, an astral aura shall surround all stealthed enemies, enemy traps, and enemy wards. Astral Form: Larrag has an additional 5%/10%/20%/25%/30% increased vision. The astral aura lasts 3 seconds longer.
Removed the silencing. What with Riot not seeming to like it anymore./ Added a bonus for while Larrag is in his astral form.
R: Astral Projection CD: 30/60/20 MC: 20/40/80 Larrag anchors his mortal vessel as he enters the Astral Plane, granting you control of his astral form. Larrag takes 6/4/2 true damage per 5 seconds while in this form.
The astral form is stealthed, has 500 base movement speed, ignores collisions with units and terrain, and cannot be targeted or damaged. It's abilities function as normal but it does not benefit from items. The astral form returns to it's vessel when it auto attacks it.
Quotes Champion Select "You have chosen a most intriguing path?"
- Movement* "The journey is far greater that the destination." "We must all follow our own path, but today; I follow yours." "Oooooooooommmmmmmmmmm...."
Taunt Larrag stands on his legs, bows, then looks up. "I fear you not find what you seek here." "We all learn from our mistakes- you will learn a lot today."
- Joke* (Sings a line from Tunak Tunak Tun by Dahlar Mindi, bobbing his head rhythmically) "I suddenly have an odd desire to steal a pick-a-nick basket." Covers his forehead then reveals his mind's eye "Peekaboo!" "I see you!" "Freaky isn't it?"
Using Enlighten "Now is the time to try something new." "Conquer your fears or they will conquer you." "A winner is you." "The object of your desire comes closer." "Express yourself, don't hold back!' "For success today, first look to yourself." "Good things take time." "A pleasant experience is ahead, don't pass it by."
Ending Astral Projection 'What an enlightening journey!'
- Death* Bows respectably and dissipates "I shall avoid you in the next life." 'He Ram." (If killed by an assassin champion)
Champion Appearance Larrag doesn't require much food, thus his body is somewhat emaciated with long limps and digits. His skin is also a light brown with a purplish tint. He has never shaved in his life so he has a thick short-haired scraggily black beard over his grinning face. The top of his head is balding, save for his kitchen and sideburns. His eyes are always closed and he is always suspended above the ground in a state of meditation. He wears no clothes, save for a wrapped loincloth and a wooden pendant depicting an eye.
Skins Customer Service Larrag- Larrag is basically an Indian. So why not put him in a cheap suit, comb (what remains) of his hair, trim his beard into a stylish goatee, have the capillaries of his mind's eye inflamed, and of course give him an earpiece. "Welcome to Riot Customer Support, this is Larrr-ry, how may assist you today?"- Larrag
So yeah, give me critique or whatever.
