LOL is outdated. should Riot update and how long we would have to wait ?

When LOL was released it already looks like 2006 game. I know they upg whole engine and other stuff, every things have their limits. Even if the game today looks kinda good. the very core, foundation are outdated. Just look how 2016 games looks like. all those physics geometry, animation in modern game. its just beautiful. I know its a lot of work to make basically a new game. but sooner or later Riot will have to do something. and more stuff they add more longer their wait, more work they will have. How much time take to make new game like LOL ? basically its just 3? maps, over 100 champions and skins. If they start making new engine. and while game today, in 2019 probably it will be released. and i wonder how good games will look in 2019

the only problem is that people with older PC would be not able to run 2015/16 standards (AAA) games. but its up to developer to optimize game so players with lowend PC could play game just by lowering settings. also i dont wanna game be hold back because of players with lowend PC. sooner or later they will have to buy new hardware. my pc in not that good (i5. 6gb ram. R9 280) but i would love to see some interaction with map terrain, based on player action. just imagine if lee ult you and you champion fly through wall. and destroy some pice of that wall, broken tree or some rock. just a visual thing. right now every knockup character looks the same. i would like to see diffrent animation based on what action were used. If lee kicks you in stomach then your character is huddled (dnt know is that a good word) I think you know what i mean. What do you think about this? i would like to see some rioter says hes thoughts

So, a few things that are important here.

1 -- League is designed for high clarity, as it's a major e-sport. This is why almost all knock-ups look the same, for example. It's also something that means the simpler, more cartoony graphics help, since big bold shapes and colors are super easy to distinguish. This is also why there isn't unnecessary terrain interaction -- if a visual has no effect other than a visual one, it probably doesn't belong in the game. This is why we can toggle off even the small critters that run around the Rift.

2 -- League is designed to last a long time with its graphics. We've seen something similar with World of Warcraft and Team Fortress 2: the non-realistic graphics really help the game age well, and let you flow graphics updates in pretty smoothly. I expect to see something similar happen with Overwatch in the future.

3 -- Every thing you add drastically increases dev time. Unique animations across the entire cast for every character in the game? If Lee Sin has a unique kick hit animation for everyone, that's 140 new animations. If each character has only ONE ability, and it only interacts with champion models specifically, that's 19,600 new animations. If each animator can design a PERFECT animation twice per day, this will take 1 animator 26 years, or 10 animators 2.6 years. And two perfect animations per day is...optimistic, since you have to account for weekends, vacations, testing, and so forth. This is why games that have this wide a cast typically don't have custom animations.

The game looks awesome as it is, but lets make it so that 90% of hte ppl cant play it if they dont have 16 ram and 12 core CPUs and the newest GPUs... right?

rather the game remain fairly "good" (hate dq but core game still there) and not turn into the new runescape eoc/evolution of crap

any game that is not evolve soner ot later gonna die. and leauge have over 7 years. and progress LOL did i so small. not only graphics... many player play LOL because they put soo much money into it (include my self) that why they dont wanna jump to other game
