They said they will do some animation updates and a bit of model work.

besides the new mobility spell they are adding being the biggest thing that seems like about it in terms of him looking different but not in terms of model work since the big ones like sion is what made him take awhile to get a new skin

I'm really trying to be optimistic about his rework but lord Talon is My Guy and I've been praying for relevancy again instead of people asking me why I didnt just pick Zed.

and in all honesty i respectfully disagree with you

dont get me wrong talon is amazing i have a lot of fond moments with using him

BUT

the issue here is that he has no niche like what the op said about the descrepency between him and zed

why pick talon?

his mobility? pick zed then

his damage? pick zed or any other assassin

and him having decent aoe damage is not a niche its a "happens to" he is an assassin who "happens to" have good aoe damage but his main focus is assassinating

he isnt a champion in league anymore he at this point and its sad to say but generic assassins creed dmg guy

i really think the rework could be good for him they said that with conditions talon is going to be the most mobile champion in the game (roaming wise) make him unique

if it works out then fuck yea :D

if it fails then fuck you riot :c
