Hello, my name is Tarian. For a while now I have noticed all of the unused land that is in Valoran. For example, The Plague Jungles, The Voodoo Lands, The Serpentine River and the one that I will be using for this concept's lore, Kaladoun, which can be found in the North West of the Valoran map. Hope you enjoy!

Lore

Kaladoun is a place of seperated people. Thousands of years ago, after an ancient war between the makers of Runeterra, Kaladoun was the first of many places in Valoran to be created. Kaladoun's residents were nomadic tribes, not settling down but staying the the same general location of the region. But after an invading army of nomads came into the region and slayed many of their people, a group of Kaldounians decided to take arms for their fallen breathren, but they would need better weapons then the ones they had at the moment. They settled around the bay in the North East where the highest amount of metal could be found in the cliffs below. They began to grow their own crops and breed their own livestock. They settled down and began to create their citadel as the captial of Kaladoun. After 20 years of creating their village, they had acquired enough raw material and evolved enough to create their electric battle blades, as they were called. Usually two baldes that could be powered by conductors and be electrified to cut through their target easier. But at the same time, Kaladoun had their shamanistic tribe. Even after the things that the Kaladounians had accomplished, they still had many fanatics of the earth mother and The Tree of Life. The Electronic and Shamanistic sides of Kaladoun lived side by side in harmony and they still do to this day. And as time went on, the hate of Kaladoun left, they no longer believed for violence to solve the problems of old. So they sealed it away, by creating a wall around Kaladoun, sealing them off from the outside world, and setting in stone the fate of their people.

50 Years Later

Taig sat on the edge of her coastal village, on the edge of a cliff that lead to the ocean. If only to feel the cool Freljord breeze strike her face for the last time. In the recent years, her homeland of Kaladoun had been struck with a plague, thought to be originated from the Voodoo Lands, and Taig was chosen to save her home and all of its people. But why her? Because she is the only one immune to the plague. Why? Because she had contracted the plague as an infant, luckily she was the only known survivor and has become immune ever since. The plague, however was sealed off though, for thousands of years the people of Kaladoun had shrouded themselves from the other residents of Valoran. Their people would live and die together, with no history to be taught to outsiders. "Taig!" A voice said Taig turned around to see one of her town's elders, in his ceremonial robe, standing with his cane. He wore the crest of Kaladoun over his heart and let himself be slightly pushed by the wind. Taig began to rise and walk to her elder, when she got to him she kneeled down in respect. "Now now, my child," the elder said with a grin on his face, "I should really being the one the kneel for you." Taig rose up and looked her elder straight into the eyes. "Is my transport ready?" asked Taig "It is my child, but the real question is. Are you?" "Well, to be honest, I do not want to leave the village, but if it is to save us then I will gladly do it." "Spoken like a true Kaladounian." The elder held out his hand, and inside of it laid a seed "This is the seed of life, plant it in the center pond of Ionia and it will create the Tree of Life. That will cure the world of disease, and cleanse our land of this plague." "I understand, elder." "Well then, shall you be leaving?" "I shall." The elder put the seed of life in her hand and Taig began to head for the docks where her ship was waiting, it would take her directly to Ionia. At this point in her story you may be asking, 'How is it that the outside world does not know of Kaladoun, but Kaladoun knows about them?' Well the story never said that Kaladoun did not keep records of the outside world.

On The Boat Ride

On the boat ride to Ionia, Taig found herself just looking at the equipment that she was given. Her two swords, given to her by her father at a very young age. Both contained a power conductor in it allowing her to super conduct them and add a zap to her swings. On her back she held many power conductors that she could use to make an explosion if needed. Taig sighed as she remembered the faces of everyone that she had to leave behind. But she knew that what she had to do was just.

Arrival At Ionia

When Taig finally arrived at Ionia, she saw a vast amount of plains and mountains, as if it was made to be a place of peace. Although the breeze that she felt was not familiar and was strangely warm compared to the one she felt back home, it had its own sense of home. When Taig stepped off of her boat entire body felt touched by some strange energy, as if the land itself could sense that she did not belong to it. The first thing that Taig planned to do was fined a guide to help her get to the center of Ionia. Strangely enough it was easier then she thought it would be.

Center of Ionia

As Taig finally went over the last hill to reach the pond where she could plant the seed, she began to see the smiles of her people in her mind. But when she was able to see the actual pond, she could only imagine being scolded for what she has done. The Pond was not there, completely dried up. It was nothing but a hole in the ground that laid there as a reminder of what it was. "How is this possible?" Taig said talking to herself "Simple my dear." She heard a voice say. "A long drought has been washing over this area, and the pond took the greatest toll." "Who are you?" Taig asked the stranger. "I am only known as Jhin." "That's a strange name sir, but what's with the mask? Doesn't it just lie to people about what your face looks like?" "Well what is the true lie? The mask? Or my face?" "Huh, valid point. But now what am I supposed to do? My people will die without that pond." "A performance is not over until the curtain closes my dear. You will find a way, this is your performance, and when it ends, I will be the one who will bring the curtain in." Taig pondered what he meant, but she was somehow inspired by his words. She turned back around and left in search of another place to plant the seed.

"I will not give up until my performance is done. -- Taig

But why is Jhin a member of Taig's story? Why does he fit into her story? Maybe the true question is. What is a better performance then one where our protagonist succeeds in their quest, but dies a Martyr?

I hope you don't mind some harsher critique ;P That said let's get going:

Niche: Assassin/Fighter with good chase potential and a support ultimate Theme: Electricity blades wielder who has a magic seed isn't a story I heard before, which is good (I guess)

Lore: Kaladoun seems strange they are mystical enough to believe in Deus EX Trees, but also have advanced science to create power conductors. Kinda split on including Jhin since, you know, he is a crazed gunman that kills for fun, that said even the Joker keeps some pawns alive, but at least they have some use for him. The most logical thing I can think of that Jhin kills her guide and sees that she is fascinated by his murder (since there isn't much crime in Kaladoun) and is integrued by her. I also dislike the idea of a deus ex machina (just plant the seed in the pond and every disease will go away) and the similiarity to nami's lore (magical artifact isn't here, better start a journey to find it).

Passive: I will save my country... by killing this random champion here ;P Kinda thematic inconsistency there It seems strange that her stacks don't fall off (not even when out of combat), but overall it seems fine. Q: What is with the weird "If Taig does not attack while her swords are electrified" interaction ? Does the CD start after using the ability or all stacks ? Otherwise it seems like an electrical item 3748 W: Ziggs ? Pretty basic, but I guess it works E: Why not just make it a silence then ? (It's weird only excluding the R) It feels a bit bland to give her another stat buff. R: Why does she have a Tank passive and why did we need the pond again ? Which Ally champion get's the passive ? I hope it's Mundo (#Balance) And we suddenly have a huge AOE root... Tree of Life ?

Playstyle: Passive buff-> W slow -> Q buff -> E buff -> hope that target is dead Isn't the most exciting thing and has been done in similiar shape or form. The fact that three parts of her kit are AA enhancer or stat buffs makes her playstyle feel very flat in my opinion.

Overall: I feel like she is missing a mechanic or ability to hook you in as she has very basic abilities and playstyle apart from her ultimate which sadly feels out of place on her.

What was your original design goal ? Do you think it's fun playing with and/or against her ? What does she bring to the game ?

Are some important questions you might want to tackle.

  1. You're using someone else's art for your character without their permission. You're pitching a concept based on a picture you saw. That's a bit sketch.

  2. Your writing is very immature / stagnant and your sense of Jhin's dialog is completely off. This is fine, you are young and doing well for your age and it will only improve. But it is jarring.

  3. No thematic cohesion. Everything is based around electricity/etc-- but suddenly tree of life ultimate out of nowhere.

  4. Numbers are completely made up. I don't think you calculated what any of these would actually do in a fight.

  5. Tree does so many different things it makes no sense.

Good effort!
