Game Mode - Rotating Regions

Have they ever had a game mode where the map changes from the different parts of the Universe? One battle you'll play on the icy tundras of the Freljord and the next game you'll be battling in the city of Demacia? Another will throw you into Bilgewater near the high seas. Would this even be viable?! I think it would be a fun idea, but one hell of a concept to execute. Maybe do a couple regions to start and more unlock in patches and seasons!?
