Gifting Your Own Skins

This needs to be done. I wanted to gift a friend of mine a skin so I bought a $5 rp and bought the skin. Little did I know I bought the skin for myself forgetting that I wasn't on gifting center. So I had to buy another $5 Rp and gift it. But besides that reason, we should be able to gift our own skins because what if we bought the skin for a champion but loose interest in that champion?

I don't see any hope of this happening, for obvious reasons.

Considering how every new account comes with 400 RP, can you see what kind of abuse this idea would encourage?

The mentality behind why you can't gift your own skins is because then Riot wouldn't earn twice the money when both you and your friend buys the skin (or in this case, when you buy it twice).

Some say it's simple logic, some say it's just good business, and some say it's outright greed.

I wouldn't mind the option to give away some of the crap 520/750 RP skins in my collection, gained through the money drain known as "mystery gifting". I also wouldn't mind an IP price option on skins either, such as something like 20x the RP cost. 36400 IP for a 1820 RP skin sounds like a decent price to me.
