Yidgar, The Cosmic Cudgel. Champion Idea
Yidgar, is not of Runeterra. They are an entity from another planet, one that heeded the advice of the Celestials, and stayed peaceful, and followed their way to peace. Yidgars race is asexual and genderless, hence I use they/them pronouns. They are from an amoeba like race, and thus absorbs many things it comes into contact with, this is represented in the kit with lifesteal, I'll get to that later. The race is called "Igdullmes". Yidgar was chosen by a celestial, as they have a spirit deemed worthy, and given a weapon with immense power, that has become a part of Yidgars body. Then he is sent by that unnamed celestial to Runeterra, to defend it in a more... Active manor then its Celestial protector, Bard.
This completely fits in the lore, as there are planets other then Runeterra, with life. But those planets followed the advice of the celestials and went the path set for them, also the celestials didn't lose the world runes while making them. Thus these planets are safe from the Voids invasion of reality, so it makes sense that someone from one of those planets would be sent to help Runeterra.
Lets get into visuals and a few voice line ideas, as well as general personality, before we get into kit. Yidgars race is, kinda amoeba-like when it comes to propensity to absorb stuff, but that is around where the similarities end. They are around 5 feet tall on average, tallest being 6 feet, Yidgar is average. They have bright pink skin, like, bioluminescent pink. With no hair, but dark, thick, antenna. Large black beady eyes. Wings that are folded in but can come out sometimes, and are usable in short bursts. Yidgars personality is a bit forlorn as they are coming to grips with the state of Runeterra, remember, their planet has never seen strife. They are completely disgusted by the void, and voice lines reflect this. They pity Darkin, as they were corrupted Shuriman ascended, and thus once warriors of the celestials, like themself. They are very interested and proud of Vastaya and Neeko, thinking they are the only people that have stayed true to the celestials. they are allied to the Targonian aspects, as they are also warriors of the Celestials, but, isn't too big on Leona or or Kayle's unforgiving natures. They are clueless on most Runterran conflicts, but seek to settle them, so will ask a ton of questions. They have lots of interactions with Pantheon, as pantheon is a hivemind of warriors throughout the universe, and thus Yidgar knows the Pantheon from their planet.
Alright, now to the only part that matters, the part you have all been waiting for, abilities. I think that Yidgar can fill an interesting niche, as a drain tank sustain bruiser.
Passive: Star Fuel Yidgar fills their Star Fuel through their abilities, depleting by (20% maximum) per second while out of combat. When the Star Fuel is filled, Yidgar becomes Heaven Sent for 4 seconds as the Star Fuel drains. While Heaven sent, dealing or taking damage against enemy champions or neutral monsters will completely fill the Star Fuel and refresh Heaven Sent's duration.
HEAVEN SENT: Yidgar gains Attack damage 25% increased base AD and 30 / 40 / 50 / 60% (based on level) Attack speed bonus attack speed. Upon taking fatal damage Yidgar will revive over 3 seconds, recovering Health 30% of maximum health over the duration. Upon reviving, Yidgar instantly recovers 100% of Star Fuel. Yidgar's revive is then put on a cooldown.
Cooldown of the revive scales with level, starting at 180 seconds, and decreases at levels 6, 11, and 16.
Q: Celestial flight After a brief delay, Yidgar dashes to the target area, unstoppably, filling up 20% of their Star Fuel dealing physical damage for 20/50/80/110/140 (+110 AD) to nearby units upon landing, and knocking up all units the the epicenter for 1 second
W: Energy Thirst/Energy Price. Passive: Yidgar applies a bonus on hit effect on every third hit against non structures. (I know I know, "Yay another 3 hit passive" but this one has a twist)
Toggle Off: Energy thirst: Yidgar heals themselves for 30/45/60/75/90(+6.5 missing health) on hit.
Toggle On: Energy price: Yidgar deals bonus on hit physical damage for 50/85/120/155/190(+75% bonus AD) and fills 20% of their Star Fuel.
E: Cosmic Tear Yidgar Unleashes 2 converging energy waves in the target direction, filling up 20% of their Star Fuel. dealing physical damge for 80/120/160/200/240(+70 bonus AD)(+40% AP) to all units hit, and slows for 30/35/40/45/50% for 2 seconds
R: Savior of Runeterra Yidgar draws in the latent celestial energy of their foes, dealing magic damage for 200/300/400(+100 AP) to nearby enemy champions and filling up 20% of their Starfuel for each champion hit. Additionally Yidgar gains bonus attack speed 40/50/60%, and 225 bonus attack range for 12 seconds.
Builds will generally be an attackspeed fighter/offtank. However you may have noticed the cheeky AP ratios, and yes that is intend to encourage you to build Rageblade even more, but also to have a fun off meta AP build
TLDR a fun new fighter with a unique and fun playstyle not found anywhere else.
and the like, but don't be full of bs and try to say that this is anything new. Own up to the fact that this is just a remake of old
