My Poppy rework dream
Here is my idea for a Poppy rework that keeps her core identity and adds some counterplay and strategic diversity(yeah I said it). No not all these ideas are my own but I believe my W and ult for her are original. I will start with the abilities and then comment. I am leaving numbers out of the equation because Riot knows how to do the math(most of the time)
Passive - Valient Fighter - everytime Poppy is struck by an enemy she gains a small percentage damage reduction for several seconds(stacks and scales with level) - moving the passive from W here and changing to a percent damage reduction
Q - Devestating Blow - Keep as is - While some say it is broken how much damage, this is what Poppy players live for. W - Glancing Blow - Poppy hits a target with the side of her hammer knocking herself back a set distance. Can target friendlies and go through passable terrain - adding a psuedo escape/engage E - Heroic Charge - Poppy charges in a straight line skill shot a set distance. If she hits an enemy target the dash length doubles and if they hit terrain they are stunned. Poppy gains increased movement speed for a small duration after the dash stops. The dash does not go through terrain - making a skill shot and adding old W active to end of dash. Another possible escape R - Diplomatic Immunity - Poppy becomes untargetable for 5-7 seconds from all enemies and towers. She is still able to move but is unable to target enemy champions with her auto attacks. When becoming targetable again Poppy doubles the max bonus from Valient Fighter. Hitting an enemy champion with Devestating Blow or Heroic charge makes Poppy targetable again immediately(notice she does not become targetable if she just casts Heroic charge or devestating Blow against minions or on their own).
Why this over others?

Strategic diversity - Poppy's current kit is very one dimesional. Stun, Destroy, and hope you live to repeat. The changes I wish for gives her many more options. Trading in lane becomes ok now that she can dash in and knock herself back to avoid some damage. Dashing not on a target now allows for that as an escape or engage. Yes she can still get in there and destroy a squishy but she has other options now instead of always going all in. She can now do more in the jungle that she can clear obsticles with new W. Obviously the biggest diversity change is now with her ult. Since she becomes untargetable instead of just invulnerable she has more options. She can ult when trying to take a tower and get a bunch of free hits on that tower. She can ult and just wave clear at her own tower even with all the enemy champions there. She can ult while making her get away after split pushing to make sure she survives. She can also ult to position herself to heroic charge and enemy towards her team and then knock herself back towards her team. But of course she can still ult and position herself to do what she has been doing and go all in. But that leads me to counter play.

Counter play - The biggest gripe of people against Poppy is that her current ult lacks counter play with a few exceptions(kiting adc's are the main one that comes to mind). With the new ult there gets new counter play. Since once she starts her attack with devestating blow or heroic charge she becomes untargetable, she can immediately be locked down and destroyed(slower with her passive) if her team doesn't follow up quick. Kiting is also still very doable against this Poppy. Also, if she ults to clear a tower she will not have her ult to escape once it ends or to engage if a team fight should break out. There is little counter play if she ults to run away unless and enemy can keep up with her to take her out once the ult ends, but you can't cover everything.
Thanks for reading and feel free to make a comment especially if you think I missed something.
