Ogloth was born to a small family in the lower ranks of Demacia. He grew up with close to nothing, and spent most of his time alone in the sewers, cleaning waste for pennies. He new nothing else than poverty and sickness, and with that sickness came a cruel fascination with plague and famine.
When Ogloth was a young adult his mother grew ill with sickness of the heart. Her only desire was for help, but Ogloth’s fascination with sickness kept him from giving her even the most basic medication. When she finally died, he did nothing but watch insects use her body for nourishment and reproducing. In this he discovered that in his mother’s death, she had given life to many more organisms than just him. He wanted to be able to create life and give nourishment to the pests that had controlled his mother. He needed death, and for this he turned to the shadow Iles.
He stole enough money to buy a small boat, and sailed to the dreaded Islands of Death. He landed upon the shore in complete confidence of what he was doing, no doubt in his mind. Within minutes of arrival, He had made his way deep into the dark forests that blanketed the Shadow Iles. It was then that he stumbled upon the Lich- Seemingly 9 feet tall, his red robes and translucent skin pulled Ogloth in. Ogloth and Karthus
will only know what words were spoken that day.
Ogloth was given Karthus’s gift of death, but his mind had not been taken. He let the maggots and flies swarm and infest his body, bloating it to disproportionate sizes before possessing it once again. His stomach surged into deep obesity. His flesh oozed with pus and his eyes were naught. His body was the Lord of the Host, and with him he carried every plague the Black Islands had to offer.
The Shadow Iles gave one last gift to Ogloth- They gave him the Armor of Pestilence. Thick, green, rusting steel covered the body. A mace of only chains was given to him, and a shield so rank with gases that they could incapacitate a man just by smell were given to him so that he may spread his cause of plague and famine to those beyond the Shadow Iles. His helmet bore the antlers of an Undead moose, blood and ichor still pumping through them to spell even more death to those around Ogloth. He is an unstoppable mountain of flesh, metal, and flies who has yet to feel the pain of health again.
Now, 9 skulls taken from Freljordian Kings, Shuriman Demigods, Ionian Martial Arts Masters, and Demacian and Noxian generals hang from the chains of his Mace. His armor is only stronger and more plague ridden, and his body continually holds more and more bacteria and flies for him to release in battle. He has created an army of zombies and plague spreaders to follow him on his ultimate conquest- to control all of Runeterra and gain the final three skulls for his mace- Jarvan the Fourth
, Swain
, and Soraka
are being hunted- and it is only a matter of time before they are infected with the Host’s glorious fumes.
