Omastama, The Infinite Acuity
I've been thinking on an idea for a champion that would have the ability to assume literally any roll on a team while having the potential to perform those rolls effectively. This led me to the following champion idea, influenced by my wife and her practice of Buddhism. I started creating a champion that was not only balanced, but was able to assimilate the use of literally all the game has to offer. Like a Monk, Omastama's character exists to let the player decide whatever path they want for the match and its potential end game situation. It is up to the player to decide how best to provide a sufficient combination of available abilities to assist their team towards victory. Taking in suggestion from team mates, as well as using their own judgement. Much like actual Monks practicing and struggling to find the balance in all things. :)
Name: Omastama, The Infinite Acuity.
Highlight:
- Omastama presents a literal first for the champions of League of Legends in that his ultimate (R) which is available at lvl 1 gives him the ability to copy the ability of any champ in the current match!
- Omastama's ultimate presents roughly 20,088 potential ability combinations.
- Omastama has a unique ability energy source called "Qi"
- Omastama may choose to be melee or ranged, and switch later on in the match if desired.
Lore: In an effort to create the perfect being, free from the restrictions of mortal forms and to regain his scientific prestige stolen by Professor Stanwick, Viktor sought to create an artificially intelligent being capable of limitless power to surpass all previous creations. Mad with the desire to prove his scientific prowess. Viktor knowingly created an brought Omastama to life in direct violation of Zaun laws set forth after the Zac Incident, stating "...no more scientific research regarding the development and creation inorganic and non-naturally occurring life was to be permitted any further."
Omastama developed incredibly faster then Viktor had ever prepared for. The time when Omastama want to learn about the outside world beyond it's laboratory home came in a matter of days. Viktor being power less to stop Omastama from leaving the laboratory and keeping it a secret, was exiled from Zaun. Omastama was immediately brought before the Council of Zaun to have it's sentiency assessed. The Council of Zaun weary and outraged by the creation of yet another artificial intelligence ordered the destruction of Omastama. Fearing for it's life that it had come to charish, Omastama quickly assimilated the skills of everyone in the council chamber into it's self. Taken completely by surprise at Omastama's strength the council guards where subdued in a matter of seconds.
Scared for it's life and still seeking control over it's still evolving abilities, Omastama sought out the city of Valoran to join the League of Legends in order to continue studying the technique of assimilation it came to call "Imbimosis".
"I have come to find balance. I have come to make all, one..." -Omastama's plea to League reception.
Abilities: Omastama has only 1 direct ability other then it's passive.
Passive: Ambidexos
- Omastama chooses at the start of the match to become melee or ranged.
- Ambidexos has a 20 minute cool down. At which time Omastama may change melee or ranged by clicking the passive icon in the spell bar.
- Visual effects: Omastama use's a purple staff to melee attack.
- Visual effects: Omastama's ranged attack animation is a thin beam of white light particles shot from it's right hand. (alternating between left and right when attack speed reaches (0.7) and higher.
- Omastama's staff is always attached to his back in a similar fashion to Ryze's scroll when out of melee mode. When engaging melee mode Omastama grabs the staff from over it's shoulder.
R: Imbimosis
- Omastama copys one non-ultimate ability from any champion in range (108) indefinitely, assuming all traits of the ability including that abilities stat ratios. AD abilities still require AD to get strong - and so forth.
- Imbimosis's "cooldown" is such that it can only be use after a champion level has been gained and a skill point is available. Giving Omastama the chance to change his kit a total of 18 times during a match.
- Imbimosis assigns Q,W,E according the the copied ability. Meaning you cannot have more then one Q or W or E copied at the same time.
- Imbimosis, again cannot copy ultimates.
- Visual effects: Omastama and the copied champion share a brief channel between them made of white light particles
- Visual effects: Ranged projectiles of copied abilities stay respective in form and are made of light particles.
- Visual effects: Melee ability effects become a glitter of light particles according to copied ability.
- Visual effects: AOE abilities retain their respective Aoe size filled with glittering light particles.
- Visual effects: Ranged projectiles are shot from Omastama's swooping right hand. (swoop speed accurate to abilities spell speed,i.e. Thresh hook wined up, Nidalee spears)
- Visual effects: Melee visuals are accompanied by Omastama hitting the butt of it's staff on the ground, thrusting it's staff outward, or spinning it's staff around. (what ever is appropriate give the ability cast)
Important Notes to Imbimosis Leveling up:
- If Omastama uses a skill point on Imbimosis and copies the same ability again, that skill is leveled up.
- When Imbimosis is used it levels up the respective Q, W, E.
- Omastama can level up copied abilities accordingly up to 5, and forgo Imbimosis copying if desired.
- When a skill point is added to a Q, W, E ability, the skill rank stays regardless of the current copied ability. Abilities may change but the skill rank will stay the same.
- Imbimosis it's self does not rank up to 3 like other ultimates, rather you have 18 chances to use it upon leveling. With your last few chances simply a last chance to mulligan your abilities abilites.
Ability Energy Source: Qi
*Qi is a unique ability energy source to Omastama allowing it to use all copied abilities be they Energy, Mana, so forth. *Qi refunds the 75% of the cost spent on an ability upon that ability's cool down. *Qi's regen is NOT effected by mana regen, or energy regen runes, masteries, items, or champion abilities - **Other then those copied and used by Omastama. **
Visual Appearance:
- Omastama's visual appearance is that of a tall humanoid made completely out of light particles wearing an orange monk style robe.
- Omastama's over all character size is ratio'd to Omastama's maximum health similar to Zac.
- Omastama's staff is always attached to his back in a similar fashion to Ryze's scroll when out of melee mode. When engaging melee mode Omastama grabs the staff from over it's shoulder.

- Health lvl1: 515 ~ lvl18: 2108
- Health regen lvl1: 7 ~ lvl18: 23
- Qi lvl1: 350 ~ lvl18: 2108
- Qi regen lvl1: 6.5 ~ lvl18: 16.8
- Melee dmg lvl1: 65 ~ lvl18: 108
- Range dmg lvl1: 55 ~ lvl18: 108
- Attack Speed lvl1: .679 ~ lvl18: 1.08
- Armor lvl1: 24.3 ~ lvl18: 80.1
- Magic Res lvl1: 31.5 ~ lvl18: 41.7
- Move Speed lvl1: 340
Fun Fact: The reason I used 108 repetitively for stats is because the number 108 is sacred to Buddhist, Hindi, and Jewish cultures. Universal tranquility and balance is the ultimate goal of this Champion.
