Will We Ever See An Actual New Ryze Design?

Okay so, Ryze is one of those champs. The ones that were there since long before league became what it is now. This champion has, of course, undergone many changes throughout history. 4 or 5 reworks on his skills if memory serves. And almost every one of those reworks was revolutionary, making the champion much stronger. All the reworks though have one thing in common: They were all designed under the same concept; a mage with mysterious runes and powers. Imagine 4-5 reworks with the same concept. Is it because he is one of the originals?
