What if Riot added a Champion mastery level 8, and lets say like top 100 people on that champion in the region get it, not really useful but it could be a cool idea

Top 100 people is way too strict. I think it should be based on how many points you have on the champion. Lets say you have 100K points on a champion, with 4 mastery tokens all of which have to be S or S+. I think that sounds more fair

I just said an example, my point was that people that enjoy playing a certain champ and are good at him, have something to show off, level 7 isnt that hard to get

Maybe get a m8 token every 50k points or 100k or so. I like the idea of more masteries tho, definitely.

I think Mastery 8 should be something very difficult to get, especially on multiple champions. Something like 500,000 or 1,000,000 Mastery Points, to show you are truly a veteran player of that champion.

I think it would be cool but what would happen if they are no longer top 100 do they just lose it? that would be kinda annoying and how will it be rated? like by mastery points? not sure how well it would work that way but id for sure be interested. I mean will i ever get one? prob not I can stick with a champion long enough to do anything like that lol.

Instead of just mastery points. It should be in conjunction with how many Games played and Game success. Mastery 5 is easy to get. 6/7 get a good rating. Mastery 8 and above should all tie in the mastery points, games played, game success, and grading system to give tokens for 8 and above. It shows how willing you are to keep up with champ changes and how well you know the kit and design of the champion to show your success in them. example after 250, 300, and 350 games with a champion should show how dedicated and how many times you played as that champion in order to start earning mastery points. Its like a irl farming system, but for your knowledge on that champ you want mastery 8+ for.

Yeah think it would be really cool only issue it may cause is that it may promote one tricking just a little bit and I know thats not really riots thing
