Taric misses both a more knighty skin and a golden/yellow colored one, the Guardian of the Sands skin line also doesn't see any new member from the first wave and the same for Risen as the menace party.

Oleandervine1 votesTaric doesn't need a "knightly" skin, especially not one that covers his entire body. Taric's thing is his hair and his prettiness, and how he can be an indomitable force without having to look like heavily burdened knight. If he did get a Shurima based skin, I would probably imagine him looking a bit like Alladin, with a short vest, exposed chest, and long black hair.

Oleandervine1 votesYes, but those skins still encapsulated the core of the champion's overall look. Taric's core of his look is strictly not having full armor on and still being a protector. If Taric goes full armor, what differentiates him from Garen or even Darius? It's simply not in his aesthetic to wear full armor. Perhaps partially full, like a coronet or framing face mask, but nothing that completely obscures who he is.
Stars Shaper1 votesThe issue about him being the protector has come down to having him shield less while still being the Shield of Valoran, so there is nothing that forbids a more armored look. Look at Emerald Taric, while being more druid-like he still has a full body armor.
GemGod1 votesI disagree considering he was the gem knight before. And I dont see how him scaling with armor sounds like he would be burdened by it. Id prefer him in some plate armor with cloth mixed, but no more bare chest stuff he already has plenty of that.
