Derthal, Aspect of the Void
Lore There is still much to explore throughout Runeterra, but the discovery perhaps is coming to us. A dark corner was awakened, a portal of some sorts. Maybe it was just a door into a tomb. The first witnesses were the citizens of Icathia as they heard a rumble deep into the void. Voidlings and dwellers were running scared as they try to find an escape, but it was at the edge towards the daylight. A figure, appeared as a man, with a subtle stride. He was not running, the others were running from him. Wearing a cowl and light armor, it was hiding the darkness within him. His right arm held a sword, glistened with void and terror. His left arm was the aspect of corruption and seemed to have claws of a demon. As soon as he crossed over into broad daylight, he was unharmed, untouched by the solar flare of the sun. Icathia became on alert as they perceive it to be a threat. The man chuckled and knew he was in the right place somehow. He then charged towards the town, the speed was unmatched and he moved like a ghost. But as people were fleeing in terror, he did not kill one of them, there was no massacre. He only wanted to move to the middle of the city and present himself. He claimed he will only kill the ones who deserve to be killed. He was looking for Ionia as he has been long gone deep in the Void. No answer.
He then said, "I only want to know where Ionia is from here, I do not look human, but I assure you I was. The darkness out there took everything I valued and consumed me, took my life and soul, but they didn't kill me when they should have. The Void out there is an evil upon itself and must be prevented. So I only need a point in the right direction to prevent the inevitable."
The families were surprised and started to slowly approach the man still considering if he's friendly or foe. The mysterious man purposely made himself unarmed in hopes of gaining trust. He then asked again where Ionia is from here as that is all he needed. A cartographer voluntarily pointed him in the correct path. He ventures on after he greets and says his farewells to the crowd. He arrives at Ionia, admiring all the things he left behind that he wished to come back to for so long. Keeping his walk, he looked up and found his destination. A mountain, and at the top, a place he used to call home. Getting close to the location, he readies his sword. He did not want to come visit, he wanted to kill. A resident of the place screamed in terror and ran to warn others. The man threw out his corrupted arm at a door of a house, where a another man, elderly, just opened it to see what was happening. The claw with sudden impact, gnawed into his shoulder. Scared and confused, he looked to where it came from. He didn't know who it was or why this was happening. And within a sudden movement, he was pulled to the ground and the man of darkness was in front of him.
"Hello, old friend", he said.
The elder shouted for help, but the figure put him to silence.
"We have a lot to talk about", said the man.
"Who are you and what do you want?!", the elder frighteningly asked.
The man answered, "I was your most trusted, the student who would always warn that Zed might be mad, then that student, became the most betrayed."
"I do not know what you're talking about! Please let me be!", exclaimed the elder in terror.
The man of darkness put his hand of corruption on the elder's side of the head. Memories were exchanged throughout, the family that he killed, and the events of a young man being left behind, all done by the elder himself decades ago. The man they were supposed to kill for refusing orders. He also saw the demon inside the man, the burning vengeance it had for the love it lost. Devoured by the Void, the elder remembered who it was and feared that he still lived, he purposely refused to fight the inevitable death consuming him.
The elder with wide eyes, overwhelmed with fear, said with his last dying breath, "Derthal..."
Derthal walks to the ledge of the porch, remembering the torment within the realm he fought to avoid to be consumed in it for so long. Creatures tore his soul apart and crumbled him into a wraith. His unbound rage exploded but could not be heard by anyone. He felt his left arm twitching again just thinking about it. The time he became demon.
"Now... I heard there was a pestilent bug lurking around here."

Abilities
Passive: Derthal can switch between Wraith and Demon form throughout the game, gaining bonuses and different abilities unique to each. Cooldowns are not shared with the exception of the ultimate. (Default Key Bind= ` ). It takes 0.5 seconds to channel the transform. Wraith- Allowed to move through units and upon transforming, gains 30-60% fading movement speed based on level. After a champion kill, Derthal becomes stealthed for 1 second and refills energy. Demon- Increased attack speed by 50% for his next 4 attacks after casting an ability or upon being transformed. Abilities inflict a mark of Corruption on enemy champions or neutral monsters. Consuming the mark with a basic attack will drain the target by 5/10/15% of their maximum health. -Cooldown- 15 seconds
Q: Laceration/Doom- Laceration- Shoots out a knife from his hidden blade in a line dealing 50/60/70/80/90 physical damage (+75% Attack Damage), after hitting an enemy unit, it can then track and follow the nearest enemy unit (up to 2) and deal 10% less damage to each additional unit. -Cost- 60/55/50/45/40 Energy -Range- 1000 -Cooldown- 5 seconds Doom- Launches his corrupted hand as a projectile, the first enemy unit champion hit is slowed by a decaying 40-70% movement speed based on how far the projectile went and inflicts Corruption. The ability can be recast within 4 seconds if an enemy champion was hit to pull Derthal himself towards the target. -Cost- 70/65/60/55/50 -Range- 950 -Cooldown- 4 seconds
W: Vehemence/Turmoil- Vehemence: (WORKING ON THIS ABILITY) -Cost- 60 Energy -Cooldown- 18 Seconds -Radius- 450 Turmoil: Jumps a small distance, smashes the ground, erupting the area causing enemies to be knocked back dealing 40/50/60/70/80 physical damage (+20% bonus attack damage). -Cost- 80 -Range- 200 -Radius- 450
E: Shadow Shift/Raw Instinct- Shadow Shift- Active: Become invisible, granting Stealth, for 0.5 seconds Passive: For every unique champion killed, Derthal increases the duration of Shadow Shift by 0.1, at the max of 5 stacks Shadow Shift refreshes on champion kills. -Cost- 30 Energy -Cooldown- 20 seconds -Range- 600 Raw Instinct- Active: Counter the next basic attack or ability, a successful counter grants 10/15/20/25/30% damage reduction for 3 seconds. Passive: Landing abilities on enemy champions reduce the cooldown of Raw Instinct by 2 seconds. -Cost- 40 Energy -Cooldown- 12 seconds
R: Death Wish/Wrath Incarnate- Death Wish- Derthal channels for 0.75 seconds, afterwards he dashes through a target opponent, ending up 350 units away. After a target is hit, at the end of the travel he can dash up to 2 times within 1.5 seconds each as long as a champion is hit, each strike can be redirected to a new priority target dealing 70/75/80 physical damage per strike (+70% of bonus Attack Damage), also applies bonus physical damage based on 10/15/20% of the target's missing health. Derthal, is immune to crowd control, and cannot be targeted if the ultimate is still channeling. (He can be targeted in between the dashes). -Cost- 100 Energy -Cooldown- 150/130/110 -Range- 800 Wrath Incarnate- Derthal channels for 1 second, dives underground and bursts up at the target location. Enemies hit within the radius are Corrupted and take 100/200/300 magic damage (+40% ability power). Afterwards, for the next couple seconds, his basic attacks cleave in an area in front of him dealing damage to all units within the range and all of his basic Demon abilities are reduced to a 2 second cooldown. Enemy units take 100-50% of the damage based on how far they are from the normal basic attack range.
