Akali Rework Concept [Inofficial]

Hey guys, I guess most of you will agree that Akali could use a rework. I main Akali and I think I've got a pretty good view of her strenghts and weaknesses. So, at the moment she has got a pick rate of 4,8% (that's under Teemo! :o) and if she is picked she either kills everybody or is useless and feeding. I have an idea for a rework that would give her much more counterplay but on the other hand make her more fun to play. I would change mainly her Q and R, give her W a few tweaks to make it feel more fluently and leave her Passive and E unchanged. Since I'm not working at Riot and can't test the abilitys I've used X instead of damage so the abilitys can be balanced. I will list the full abilitys and give you a TL;DR if you don't want to read the full abilitys. Passive (UNCHANGED): Twin Disciplines Discipline of Force: Akali's basic attacks deal X% of her AD as bonus on-hit magic damage. Discipline of Might: Akali permanently has X% spell vamp. Q (BIG CHANGE): Mark of the Assassin Akali throws her Kama as a linear Skillshot that passes minions dealing X +(0.X AP) magic damage and marking the target for 6 seconds. Akali can jump to a targetet enemy with her Shadow Dance (R) with an amplified range guaranteeing to hit. Additionally she can pop the mark with a basic attack to make it deal X +(0.X AP) magic damage. W (SMALL CHANGE): Twilight Shroud Akali instantly throws down a smoke cover which lasts for 8 seconds, granting sight of the target area and slowing all units within it. The size of the cover scales with the rank of this ability. Upon entering the smoke cover, Akali immediately gains stealth and a burst of movement speed that decays over 1 second and refreshes each time she re-enters the smoke cover. Upon leaving the smoke cover Akali will stay invisible for 1 second. E (UNCHANGED): Crecent Slash Akali flourishes her kamas, dealing X +(0.X AD) +(0.X AP) physical damage to nearby units. R (BIG CHANGE): Shadow Dance Passive: Akali uses a stock system on this ability; she stores an Essence of Shadow periodically and upon taking down an enemy champion, up to a maximum of 3 stored at once. Active: Akali dashes to the target location, dealing X +(0.X AP) magic damage in a small area around her target location. Note: The range is decreased and only goes as far as before when she hits her Q! TL;DR: - Q is a Skillshot - Akali can jump to by her Q marked enemys using her R with an amplified range - W has no cast time - Akali still has 1 second of invisibility after leaving her shroud - She can use her R anywhere similar to Ahri's R (expect for marked targets, which she is guaranteed to hit) - R has reduced range - R has got the same range if she hits her Q - Her R deals damage in a small area This are my thoughts on how Akali could be reworked. It would increase her skillcap due to her Q now being a skillshot. It is her main source of damage and if she misses it her power would shrink significantly. Her ultimate should now be better to outplay enemys by dodging abilitys and be more fun to use. Now she (finally!) could get over walls. It would make her very mobile but not too mobile since there are champions like LeBlanc with similar or more mobility. What are your thoughts about my idea of an Akali rework? Let me know! :)

Please consider writing it separately in paragraphs, it is so annoying to read it all together....

I like the ideas, but I would take the E, and rework all the ability, it doesn't feel part of the kit... It has to be something defensive but deal dmg at the same time, like Kata's E... maybe a mini shield with a mini sunfire cape.
