[Skin Suggestion] Why not make Star Guardian Sona ?

Hey, so i am main Sona and play the champ so much and i am sure it would be great if there was a star guardian sona skin so why not consider making it.. I hope many people agree.

She is definitely a candidate, but the list of possible Starguardians is quite long and everyone wants such a skin, since the skin line is extremely popular. So we all can just pray that Rito gives it to our preferred champion.

Honestly if you were to go ask Sona mains what skin they want for her, one of if not the most requested answer for Sona is Star Guardian, myself included.

I was hoping to God for either Star Guardian or Blood Moon Sona. Since we only got Eve for Blood Moon, I'm praying Riot gives us what we want.

Plus I'm prepared to spend money on every inevitable piece of merch they make if they do come out with Star Guardian Sona

Yes, I understand that. But the Sona community is not the only one wanting a Starguardian skin for their champion.

Caitlyn Diana Irelia Karma Leona Nami Nidalee Orianna Quinn Riven Sivir Akali Ashe Annie Taliyah Taric Xayah Rakan Zoe Like I said, there are many possible candidates for the Starguardian skin line and I have read alot of requests for pretty much everyone of them.

Maybe you are lucky and they will include Sona in the next Starguardian line up, but the competition is big. Starguardian is so extremely popular, everyone would kill to get this skin for his main.

Honestly though, of all of them I hope that Xayah and Rakan dont get them, only because if one gets one, then so does the other, and that's two slots eaten up.

Zoe is getting Pool Party, so I hope they dont give her a SG soon afterward.

I'm being a bit petty, yeah, but I just hope they give it to Sona

Yeah, I totally agree. I'm not a sona main,but she's one of the few few female champs who fit the skin P E R F E C T L Y. It will be a shame if they don't give her a star guardian skin this year. I will be pissed. I want her either a pink legendary (without meaning she will be the leader cuz she's support) or green

Yeah. Honestly with the overall darker tone of the SG skinline is going, I have been a bit on the nervous side about Sona going through that too, but I think more than that I really really want to see her in an adorable magical girl outfit

Honestly she could be legendary tier without being the team leader, look at Jinx.

Might be a little weird, yeah, but there is a little precedent.

Honestly the best candidates that come out of this list whom fit the universe AND whom hasn't had a skin already announced in the near future or recently is probably Irelia , Leona , Sona , Taric , Taliyah , Karma , Quinn .

I think the list is actually longer than you mention here. Caitlyn Orianna Nami Ashe

I would add these to "fitting the universe and don't have a new skin announced", for example.

True they call can work! But Caitlyn, Vi, Orianna, Ashe had skins in 2017. & Nami probably wouldn't fit because she's not really human-like. Or perhaps she could. adjusting my list i'd remove Quinn and Karma based off my 1 year skin logic. But then again, look at riven that gets a skin every 10 minutes lol. Anything can happen.

Personally, my dream line up would include these: Caitlyn Orianna Quinn

I also would enjoy to add Vi just because of Caitlyn, but she seems a bit unlikely (but not impossible) since she got Warring Kingdoms and Project last year.

I dont think adcs work that well as Starguardians since their spell effects dont give much room for flashy star animations. Ezreal has just enough to make it work. I'm not saying it would be impossible for Riot to make it work somehow, I am just not seeing it.

Also, Starguardians are based on the magical girl trope which really doesnt work well with gunslingers. SailorMoon with a sniper gun ?

I'd rather go with Leona Diana

And I don't know how much experience you have with magical girl shows in general, but especially in the last years, firearms became more prominent in these anime series.

Idunno about non-mains, but if you ask Sona mains what skins they want, Star Guardian is an extremely popular response, from what I've seen.

Most people also at the very least agree that Sona matches the theme and archetype they've used perfectly.

I seriously hope they make more, and that they give Sona one of them. It's been a while since her last skin, anyway.

Sona fits the aesthetic, totally agree with that. However, I think she doesn't bring something new to the Starguardians when it comes to personality.

The most fitting for Sona would be the silent and shy caretaker.... which is already covered with Soraka.

She could be a pink legendary, without meaning she would be the leader, just like with jinx,so that they can give her something like a happy go lucky personality. Not sure if this could happen, since she already has an ultimate skin :(

To be fair, Jinx was a special case, since the leader of her group (Lux) got this skin released way before the rest of the team. I think it is more likely that legendary Starguardian skins will go to the leader of the group from now on, but that is just a guess from me.

And I don't really know about the happy go lucky personality. If you look at them, the Starguardians still kept their "base" personality. Even Jinx, she is still a trouble maker and wants to blow up stuff all the time. It's just that she added sparkles to the recipe of her rockets now.

So I think it is unlikely that Sona gets a legendary Starguardian skin. I hope she gets a Starguardian skin in general, tho, even if I think that she doesn't really bring a new personality to the table of the current cast.
