Petunia The Yordle Siege Engine (Champion Concept)

In the undergrounds of Bandle city Heimerdinger and Rumble have finally finished a monstrous weapon of destruction. Part Mech, and part turret....... The first Yordle made siege engine has been created. The two have put together a crew that may seem unorthodox.... but they are for sure the right crew for the job. Three Yordle siblings Grim, Gram, and Grom. Each Yordle has their own unique skill that brings them to be the ultimate team.

Grim puts the pedal to the metal. His driving skills and experience make him the perfect operator for driving the siege engine.

Gram is known for his technological abilities. His knowledge of all things technology make him an incredible engineer.

Grom is an expert marksman who shoots his home made Yordle hunting rifle with superb accuracy

Together the three brothers take over the Particle. Evaporating. Telescopic. Uniformed. Nexus. Initiating. Artillery. or Petunia for short!

Basic attacks by this unit is carried out by Grom. He will be sniping in his sniper position on top of the siege engine.

Passive - ASSEMBLE!: Gram constructs an explosive shrapnel shell (every 30 seconds Petunias next Canister Shell shot will cause bleed damage)

Ability 1 - Canister Shell: Petunia fires an AOE rocket (does increased damage to towers)

Ability 2 - LETS SEE WHAT SHE CAN DO!: Grim drives Petunia like a mad Yordle (Petunia gains a great burst of movement speed and is immune to slows however cannot cast abilities while LETS SEE WHAT SHE CAN DO! Is active)

Ability 3 - HUNKER DOWN BOYS!: Petunia is rooted in place giving CANISTER SHELL and Grom increased range

Ability 4 - Petunia shoots a large ward across the map that reveals a large area. Enemies revealed by the ward are marked for 2.5 seconds. During that time Petunia can shoot the champion no matter the distance.

I planned for this champion to be a mid laner who has to scale to late game status to be relevant. This gives the enemy team the ability to shut the engine down and give an assassin the edge for assassinating the engine later on.

Any and all of these ideas are mine. If you would like to use them please let me know!

I love the idea of this champion. I think it gives assassins a very LARGE target to attack, while allows many team comps to form around Petunia. Pleas give me feedback on this!! If the post gets popular enough I will add numbers to the champion.

I love to read steampunk literature and though I had to think of landships reading your champion idea. http://img.ifcdn.com/images/b8daeba880803e0cfe57c2fe1bf97db32d5df7b450eb76b7a046c6467b9cf662_1.jpg (from the book Leviathan by Scott Westerfield)

Unfortunately, your idea has some problems to find in the game. First, we already have something that is close to it in design. Talking about him: Rumble I understand that your idea is actually different, because it is a siege weapon and not a metal close combat killing machine like Rumble's Tristy, but the idea of a mecha driven by Yordle is there and it still would feel kinda close....

Another problem: the model. In your idea, this mecha is driven not only by 1 but by 3 yordle. That means that the yordle (if visible at all, but the one shooting seems to be) would be really tiny because the mecha itself has to have a similar size like other champions, which means the 3 Yordle in it have to fit in that model and be smaller. It would look kinda strange in game if you ask me.....

The kit seems interesting, I think we need more champions interacting with towers in this game. And I absolutely love the idea of having a champion with a perma rooted stance for seige potential. Would like to see something similar in game.

Facit: I like the idea of the champion, but the design seems unlikely to happen for me. Maybe without the Yordle's, making it an unmanned seige engine. The kit has potential and I would like to see some of your ideas in the game.

First off, I'm pretty sure that rumble and heimerdinger are rivals. I could be wrong but you might want to check that.

Second off, I really love the idea of this champion and his abilities. His E kind of reminds me of bastion from overwatch.

Third, I'm not sure how I feel about his ult. Maybe if I saw his ult in use, i might like it more but it feels a bit overpowered.

Lastly, I love yordles.
