Fiora Rework

Fiora's problem is that she has binary gameplay. She either gets ahead or is shutdown. Additionally, her playstyle doesn't match her character--as a duelist, she needs to feel more "duel"-y. Here is an attempt to remedy that.

Fiora - The Grand Duelist Lore: She now has a magic sword named Wisp that she has honed as a result of dueling with many over the ages, becoming a sword that is almost "alive" and a literal extension of her duelist's spirit.

Q - Wispblade - Fiora thrusts her sword, conjuring up a magical image of a wispblade. It goes forward, dealing 50/80/130/160/190 (+1.00 bonus AD) (+60% AP) to units in its path, marking them with Wisp's Mark for 5 seconds (Range: 650). If Fiora attacks a unit with Wisp's Mark, she gains a shield of 30/40/50/60/70 (+50% AP) (+0.50 bonus AD) for 1.0 second, and increases her movement speed by 10/15/20/25/30 for same duration. The shields stack, the movement speed bonuses stack and gradually decay over time, and the mark is not consumed. CD: 12 Mana cost: 80 Mana

W - Riposte - Fiora readies her blade, deflecting the next auto-attack or projectile (a la Yasuo) spell in the next 1.5 seconds. If she successfully blocks, her next attack becomes empowered, stunning her next target for 0.5 seconds and dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+100% AP) (+1.00 AD) physical damage. CD: 14/13/12/11/10 Mana cost: 40 Mana

E - Quick Step - Fiora dashes in a target direction, becoming untargetable for the duration of the dash. After the dash, she gains 50/70/90/110/130% bonus attack speed for 3 seconds. Quick Step's cooldown is reduced by 1 second for every minion or monster she kills, and is refreshed upon kill or assist. CD: 12 Mana cost: 40 Mana

R - Blade Waltz - Fiora and her blade, Wisp, become synchronized with each other, allowing Fiora to sweep around the battlefield. Fiora gains the ability to dash to any unit, friendly, enemy, neutral, or ward, up to 5/6/7 times, dealing 90/150/210 magic damage (+50% AP) (+0.50 AD) to the target if it is an enemy and dealing on-hit effects. She cannot dash to the same target twice in a row, but she can dash to the same target more than once. Fiora can be stunned during her dashes. CD: 120/100/80 Mana cost: 30/35/40 Mana per dash

Fiora has been transformed into a skill-based carry that now has viable AP and AD paths. She relies heavily on balanced offense and defense, and playing as and against her requires a special amount of finesse. Her Q, Wispblade, allows for prolonged duels that end unfavorably for players should they choose to engage in the 5 second window that they are marked. Her W, Riposte, has been spruced up in order to fare more favorably against bullies such as Ryze or Irelia and now can counter-attack. She can even, since she blocks projectiles, cancel Katarina's ult with her W. Her E, Quick Step, is a simple gap closer, but also a defensive mechanism that she can use in situations--i.e. against a Fizz ult or a Karthus ult. And, her ultimate, R, is dependent on whether she can avoid CC to output all of her damage.

It looks pretty nice! It seems like you've put a certain amount of thought into this, and it certainly seems like a fun, interactive kit to use.

I was a bit skeptical to giving Fiora a magic sword at first though, mainly due to her general attitude (Talen, Honour, Discipline ect.) as she seems like the kind of person who would refuse magical weapons and wishes to win through skill and skill alone because of it. I don't really have much against the kit itself though. It looks fun to use and seems like it would seperate those with more skill from those with less a bit more.

I have to ask one thing though; Quick Step. What is the reasoning behind lowering the cooldown when you kill minions or monsters? Also, wouldn't it kind of suit a Duelist a bit better to lower the cooldown on basic attacks to champions, like Yi's Alpha Strike, instead of resetting on kills? Resets on kills seem reserved for Assassins, and despite her classification, I think Assassin-like features like this one kinda clash with the whole "Duelist" theme. Another quick note is that, I think the cooldowns on the skills are a bit more suited to trading rather than dueling, although that's just a minor nitpick.

One thing I absolutely have to mention more specifically though; Blade Waltz. I LOVE IT. It gives the player more control over where the damage goes, and in addition allows for some more counterplay on the opponent's side. It sounds like so much fun to actually be able to control where Fiora goes instead of pressing R and watching the mayhem unfold. (Although, I have to admit, that is a bit fun too.) The only suggestion I would make to improve it would be to allow Fiora to dash to the same opponent again after a delay. y'know, so it won't be completely useless in a 1v1 duel, for obvious reasons.

All in all, I like it! It's an interesting and fun-looking take on Fiora, and I wouldn't really mind Fiora being like this. As I've said before, this Fiora seems fun to play!

First: this rework is almost the magical version of my rework, which is why i like it :)

Second: Ult looks like she is good in 1 V 2 not a duel. Think about it, if you can't dash same target twice in a row so you must dash to another unit, that's 1 V 2. What if you met an enemy Champ in jungle? Your ult only works once. Where did the word "duel" go?

Third: Where is my favorite omnislash like ulti? That's the reason why I play league!

Fourth: It's actually better to remove the on hit effect of her ult if you really want to make her hybrid. But if you want her just capable of both AD and AP build, I think E is useless for AP and ult is too weak for AD.

Fifth: The purpose of this rework is suppose to change her from a strong snowball effect champ into a skill champ right? But ur ult tells me it doesn't work like that. Ur ult is like Yasuo's E, just with much shorter CD for an single target. If you got fed you can dash through minions all the way to kill the champ. With your E dash and Q movement speed, I don't see why she couldn't get that kill. If she is behind then she can just run away with her super high mobility. I think that make her from a snowball based champ into a super duper OP champ.

Sixth: I don't understand the passive >_< Does it do anything in numbers?

Seventh: Check out my rework :) The Guinsoo version rework :) Guinsoo had trouble finishing his Fiora and I gave some advice based on his rework goal. It's is some how similar to yours. You are welcome to check it out and leave comments.
