Latest project borders. Do they not appear if you don't have the skins after a certain period,etc.?

So I just wondered how the latest borders worked, would they not appear if I didn't have the skin at the time of unlocking, or would they not appear if I didn't acquire the skins after the a certain time e.g. if the event ends.

p.s. I have no idea what board "skin borders" would go under.

As long as you get the borders plus icon (which I see you have), you can get the skins whenever and still have the border. Buy them a week from now, a month from now, ten years from now, and you'll still get em!
