The sunlight gazes on all equally, meaning that everyone is granted the blessings of the shurima sun. Since eternity, even then before the fall of Shurima, it was known that life becomes only alive through the sunlight and nothing else. A life without the sun meant death or exilement, for many worse than any torment one could imagine.

There was once a legend that everyone has forgotten, but remained as a story on the walls of the floating pyramides - that there was once a crisis that not even Renekton or Nasus could have prevented, if they had existed at that time. Yes, this crisis was even before the legendary heroes Nasus and Renekton were ascended. To speak the truth, it is the legend of the first ascended - Skaara.

Skaara was depicted as the first being who successfully ascended, as Shurima was in dire need of a hero. Shurima had to face a powerful enemy whose heart were cold as ice and conquered lands through corruption. Skaara has been ascended through the ritual and fought against the threat, but as the story continued, so does the end of Shurima. It is said that when Skaara defeated the enemy, he became corrupted, thinking of himself higher than anyone else and killed the past Emperor in order to take its place. In the entire history of Shurima, such cruelty was never seen against the own Emperor. Nevertheless of the assault, Skaara began to play games with the life of Shurimans.

While Skaara was cursed and said to be the most tyrannic Emperor in history, noone could stand up against the ascended Skaara. It is said that when Shurima faces a dire threat, the ascension shall be done - thus the birth of Nasus and Renekton began. As the new heroes of Shurima awakened with their new powers, so did the battle against Skaara.

Skaara, who fought endlessly against two ascended at once, was at his limits. For one moment, he threatened Nasus and Renekton to destroy Shurima if they wouldn't obey at his will. At first, Nasus doubted Skaara's ability to do so, but then had to kneel down, and Renekton followed his brother. Skaara, being arrogant as he was, made one mistake and both Nasus and Renekton took advantage of it. They both sealed him away in a sarcophagus, which then was placed inside of a pyramide - to be sealed away from the sun and slowly die.

This is the story of how Nasus and Renekton became the legendary heroes to help Shurima in its direst needs.

One story ends, albeit another story arises.

The pyramide of Skaara has been lost over the years, said to be buried in the sands where he belongs to. As prying eyes enter the pyramide and open the sarcophagus, a cocon build of sands has been found. Is he..?
