i do wish they would of kept him resurrecting ppl into his kit. taking it out is like taking ryze scroll or teemos blow gun, its just iconic to that champ. so heres my idea. what if when he ulted he could raise all things that died before him from the previous 60 secs for 10 seconds (it could be random things (excluding the baron) and a limit cap of mmm lets say 8 units, depending on wht hes killed would vary the number brought back like a player red/blue would count as 3 units but a crab is 1, a cannon be 2 but a dragon would be 5 units. it would prioritize large monsters, dragons or players first).

they would have a 10/15/20% deteriorating health debuff depending on rank so no they wouldnt be full health and would slowly die at a certain rate. dealing 50+ 3.5% of mords total AP as magic damage per hit. dragons would give a temporary buff to mord only depending on the type raised due to them needing 5 units to raise to help compensate for the cost (they wouldnt need todo dmg much as mord would still be with them doing most of the damage with attacks and spells so as not to make his minions raised too op. also, they can only attk ppl within his aoe's circle "wake" so mord would still have todo stuff to secure the kill not just push R and chill). players, minions or monsters and dragons fight any hostile champs within his wake (the range of his damaging aoe circle), any champion deaths that occur during this also rise and extend this effect for 3.5 secs. it would encourage him to farm minions like nas and veigar to increase his power and would just be fun. and also strategy for when to ult as depending on wht hes killed or been around thats died near him would be wht he brings back depending if they were within the last 60sec before he ults

it would make him as a jungler really viable too not just a top. out of the fog u here "death comes before you" and ghost crab with raptors or a dragon and a teemo come into lane to gank with him lol. a real litch king style champ. his focus on "conquering" combined with death would be more true to his lore then a shadow realm boxing ring, he fought armies and he brought legions

idk, the ult was a bit gimmicky. a lot of his power was in his ult, and the dragon ghost, so other parts of his kit suffered a bit.

id rather a champion just have clear strengths/weaknesses without being gimicky (have to kill a specific target/have to be winning and get dragon to win more).

I love the concept of the ghosts and most of the fan concepts I've made for a Mordekaiser kit included the ghosts in some form, but I can honestly see why they did it. Unless you got an auto-attack based ghost, the ghosts were completely useless. Maybe you can shove a lane down with a tank ghost and it's true Morde gets part of their stats, but honestly if you don't grab an ADC or Yi type character it was a waste. Because of the theoretical maximum (a Vayne ghost) of how good the ability CAN be, the rest of Mordekaiser's kit had power sapped from it because of a situation the Morde player might not even be able to orchestrate in his game.

His new kit on the other hand, is a powerful set of tools with clear rules and ways to outplay and kill people. His ultimate results in him going into a 1v1, which has a ton of uses (deleting the jungler so they can't smite a camp and killing them) but doesn't have the kind of insane variance of something like Vayne ghost vs Yuumi ghost. I love kits like that, powerful base abilities that don't suffer because of utility ults (Kindred, Bard, etc.) so I feel like his new kit is great. It's sad to see the ghosts go but it's clear they tried to bring it back and honestly you can't blame them for the loss of the ghosts, the only way it could've been kept is if a death always results in the same single type of ghost that always has the same stats and has no variance, which doesn't really sell the original fantasy either.
