Veigar

Hi summoners, Not sure if I can post this here (advise me if I did wrong), but I thought of giving Veigar's Leprechaun Skin a new look. As I think the current seems a little bit out-dated (no offence) I wonder what you think and feel free to criticise as I am a student trying to get better in digital character design. thank's in advance and item 3649 you in the rift

As someone who has refunded not 1 but 2 Vegiar skins, this is the one skin I still use and I love your drawing of it.

The post is fantastic, and the style is perfect for this sort of fan-art.

My one comment on the overall design is that I'm not sure how he's supposed to be sitting: his right leg seems oddly placed for his pose, as if it were resting up on a pile to his right, which would have to be uncomfortable given his posture. I know that in that pose it almost seems like he should have his legs cross or overlapped somehow.

That one criticism aside, this is delightful. I'd love to see you see if you can do a version that matches the League-style realism a bit more though -- the shading and lines on this definitely wouldn't fit an in-game splash. It's a beautiful piece though, and I'd definitely like that pose (with the leg/hip alignment issue tweaked a bit) in place of the current splash art for this skin.

Yes you can post this kind of things on this boards.

And yes this is a really good art. I will try to show it to Riot. They can make something similar if they come to a point where they want to remake Veigar's skins or to just give hime full VGU. Go on and make more of this cool pics. I would love to see all of your works so far.

It's too cartoony for LoL...

Not bad at all! Perhaps a bit too happy for Veigar though.

Really nice! Although some minor things that you could improve on(which I wouldn't have mentioned if you didn't want criticism because its good) are that the clovers could have a smoother transition to the grass to the left side, the solid black line just feels a bit off. Also it seems like the left arm may not connect to his body with the positioning its at. Not sure if that is because it's too far into the background(direction wise) or to far behind him. Lastly his right arm's width changes as it goes along, not sure if that's because its not in plane with the picture(in which case it should be changing width at an equal rate across, arms don't bend except at elbow). Anyways, really like it, and the things I pointed out would probably only be noticed if you stared at it for a while(which I have at this point).
