Gol'Kuul, The Unsettling One

voidborn, slightly tankier support with good cc, slow with lower damage, but better health stats inspiration: Argus Panoptes of greek mythology Uses eyes as "ammo" instead of mana/energy melee ranged basic attacks, punches

An overly muscular giant voidborn humanoid creature with 7 giant eyes, one in place of a face, one on each bicep, one on each forearm, and one on each thigh

Passive: Disquieting Vigil - Gol'Kuul opens an eye every 7 seconds, up to a maximum of 7. Basic attacks reduce cool down of Disquieting Vigil by 1 second

**Q: **Jitters - Gol'Kuul lobs one eye(Maokai sapling lob range?), the eye deals magic damage and causes fear in a small circle upon impact. If it doesn't hit anything, the Jitter eye functions as a basic ward until it fades or gets destroyed. It is not invisible. Destroying the Jitter eye at close range causes fear briefly to the one who destroyed it. As a ward, it decays quickly.

W: Ghastly Glare - causes Gol'Kuul to move slowly while glaring in all directions. During this ability he dodges incoming basic attacks, and nearby enemies have their attack speed reduced greatly. Doesn't use up eye ammo, but has much higher cool down time than his other abilities.

E: Baleful Observance - uses an eye to give himself or an allied champion a shield for 7% of Gol'Kuul's max health. The phantom eye floats above them and grants vision in a small area around them until the shield disappears/is destroyed.

R: Wretched Dominion - grants true sight of a circular area of the map via a large glowing void eye on the ground(slightly larger than GP ult size?), enemies revealed this way are Feared, but if they were already visible, the duration of the fear is greatly reduced. the big glowing eye is closed initially, but opens after a couple seconds. Once the eye opens fully, enemies still within the eye take magic damage. Uses up all current eyes to cast, for each eye used this way, the magic damage of Wretched Dominion is increased slightly.

Can't do my normal full run-down at the moment (working on a project myself right now), but I wanted to pop in to say and this is a REALLY awesome concept.

I especially love the Q as a combination projectile/vision tool, and it works fantastically with the thematic of a creature with eyes everywhere. For me personally, however, I'd rather see this creature be more monstrous, and maybe have the eyes floating around him/her/it -- this makes the throwing animation a little clearer, and also explains why they eyes can float in position.

My big concern is whether or not this grants him too much vision -- if it's on an long enough cooldown to grant vision like a ward then it's useless as a harassing tool, and if it's the opposite it could be overpowered for the amount of consistent vision it can grant.

You could give it a VERY limited vision range though, and allow a warning if it's destroyed. Then you could make a Shroom-like field to grant serious vision, or use them as projectiles. Might offer the needed amount of counterplay then, and still be super useful in places like bushes to give surprise vision.

Really like this idea, thought I do have some things to add. Making a support that has no mana greatly reduces the usefulness of a lot, if not most, support items which usually tend to give mana regeneration. I'd say make mana regeneration reduce the eye opening cooldown to mitigate this. The other thing is his E shield. It's a very small shield compared to what most other supports can offer. It should either be a bigger base shield, or alternatively scale with some other stat he builds and be given to BOTH him and an ally.

A fun concept, and commendations are definitely in order for coming up with an eye-themed void champion who totally avoids stepping on Vel'Koz's toes (tentacles?)

The w seems a little lackluster to me. What about an ability where he targets one champion who is feared. after targeting them for ___ seconds, Gol'Kuul gains movement towards them and all basic attack deal magic damage. I like this since it's a gap closer along as a way to recharge his passive, since right now after using r or just losing the eyes in general, he can't really do much you feel me? Maybe some kind of interaction with wards could be cool too. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] It's a super cool concept I hope to see one day
