So about the current state of Udyr. . . And an idea for a mini rework

To start off I would like to say that I'm not a high elo player, I'm a plat player and an Udyr one trick. I've been playing Udyr since 2017 and I've always had a blast playing him. I've done plenty of different builds and have faced every champion in the game with Udyr. Although I love the champion I had to stop playing him recently because of how the meta is and because of how out dated Udyr's kit is. As much as I want Udyr to get a kit rework, the simplicity of his kit is what draws me to him. Once you learn his combos he becomes a macro based champion which is why I like him. If Riot were to rework Udyr I wouldn't want them to change the majority of his kit, his E, Q and ,W are fine. If we look at Udyr's kit his Phoenix stance is rarely used therefore a quarter of his kit doesn't get used. Here is a concept that my friend and I came up with the other night for a possible mini rework. I say Mini because his Q E W and passive are staying the same. I believe giving Udyr an ultimate is the best thing for him, but this isn't going to be a standard ultimate. He still keeps his 6 points into Q W and E that riot implemented with his last change. His ultimate would be locked until about level 6 (or whatever level would be best suited for the ability). For the ultimate itself I would give him some sort of a single target gap closer like Jax's Q. How it would work is you would leap onto the target and apply an empowered version of whatever stance he is in. So for Tiger it could do more damage within the dot timer, for turtle give him a little bit more shield or more healing and for bear his stun could be 1.5 seconds instead of 1 second. This ultimate expands his decision making and would help him against ranged champions or champions that could kite him. It would help his ganks or diving champions similar to a Vi. Either way Udyr needs something done to him. This would be a mini rework that keeps him as the champion he still is. Other than a small kit change he also needs an animation change in his default skins because they are also outdated and look stiff compared to newer champions.
