I really liked what they did with Akali in the K/DA video so right after watching it the ideas started coming and I started immediately on it! Any critique or comments are always more than welcome!

Thanks, really appreciate the kind words! Not really sure if I'd be that good at making an icon as I'm mainly focused on 3D art but could always be nice to explore other areas!
LilxPaprika1 votesTrue, most icons are purely illustrated. Though some newer ones have more pop to them. Almost as though it was first made into 3D then given an illustrated look. Like painting over your staff type of thing.
