Revising the Manner By Which Prestige Edition Skins Can Be Acquired

Dear Riot,

I would like to start off by saying that I appreciate the Event Passes for what there are! They are a great way for players to keep playing the game, while at the same time rewarding their time with exclusive rewards through a limited, but exclusive currency. However, I find it rather disappointing that some of the exclusive Prestige skins (i.e. Kai'Sa, Akali, Caitlyn, etc.) could only be acquired through that corresponding event that only lasts about a month, while others can be acquired through prestige points. I personally favor the latter, prestige point based system of acquiring these exclusive prestige skins because the currency is there to stay post-event. This is not the case with the former, where I MUST use the tokens within a couple of weeks of the event ending. I have "grinded" every event since worlds 2018 (the introduction of the EP) except the Arcade event, but, as many other players might agree, it takes a horrendous amount of time. While I did try my best to acquire K/DA Akali Prestige Edition (the skin I desired the MOST among the line), I fell short due to other responsibilities, and must now try my 0.12% chance (1/844) of acquiring it through a loot box. The chance is only lower for a player who owns only a few skins of the total 946 in the game. Therefore, I BEG of you, Riot, to have mercy on players, such as myself, to either create an exclusive event where players can grind for prestige points, and have the opportunity to acquire one of those event exclusive prestige edition skins or maybe even make it available for purchase. I am confident that many other players in this community would love to see this happen as well! Thanks for reading, and I hope this might be a reality in the near future! [sg-ahri-2]
