How about gender bender skins?

Riot made a lot of great skins for their characters and invented chromas to allow people enjoy experience with game even more than before. I saw on Deviantart or other websites tributes to their work shown in art. Also I noticed that people very often play with art by picturing their favorite characters as different genders. It looks super funny so I wonder what Riot would think about this idea. What about making gender bender skins for some characters? Also what do you - players - think about it? Would you like skins like that? Which characters would you like to see as different genders?

I think that people could like gender bender skins because it would be funny, ridiculous or on the other hand interesting and different. Can you image female Garen? The big, muscular lady with square jaw and short girly skirt? Or super hot and sexy male Ahri? Or old granny Zilean rushing with her walking frame and putting on heads of enemies explosive applepies, mugs of hot chocolate or what grannies usually like to make? I bet Wawrick would love to eat her.

Every gender bender skin would require new voice work, so would at minimum be priced at Legendary tier (1,820 RP). You have my full support, however.

Gender is a fine line nowadays. I think Riot would rather avoid the impending shitstorm a gender bender skin would bring.

It would be a funny idea though.

The linked artwork is really good!

And also it's probably not going to happen - even assuming models weren't an issue, you'd need a different VO for the champion. That would suck. With different models, animations, and VOs, you're recreating a champion just for a skin. Not even remotely profitable for the amount of time spent.

Which is too bad, it'd be interesting to see some of these gender flips.

Getting tired of this... champs are made to be a specific gender. If you dont like it then go play skyrim and change your gender all you want

Riot has touched on this before, they do not want skins that change the theme of a champion. To use your picture, Twisted fate would go from sly playboy to thieving seductress, and that is not guaranteed to resonate with the Twisted fate mains, equaling a poor Riot Games.

I'd rather not touch the topic. I have a couple transgender friends who've stated distaste for genderbending characters; they find it offensive.

Riot said they won't do that because they'd have to build a new champion really. They'd have to have new animations and such due to the fact that men and women move differently. Plus, it'd add more confusion to people as Riot loves their "clarity" so they don't want to change the feeling of the champions.
