Hello, today I play league of legends, and I picked auto-fill, but, something was wrong. So, I had an idea, is it possible to exclude a role in the auto-fill, I think it can be very nice, because more people would pick auto-fill and then it would be easier to find a game ! So, if you think like me, say it ! (pouce bleu :D )
ChaosReyn2 votesIt'd be pretty simple to accomplish: place fill as your primary, then take the role you'd LEAST like as your "secondary" which would be the exclusion slot.
Mid/Fill, you want mid, but will fill any role.
Fill/Mid, you will fill any role, but you DO NOT want mid.
It's not too hard in theory. And tbh, I'm getting quite annoyed at the argument concerning queue times, because the same people complaining about high queue times are the same ones I see complaining about their "braindead teammates" that more than likely got autofilled into their off-role. It's quite simple really: pick the lesser of two evils (waiting for a game where you know everyone's content with their role) or take a break from the game and come back when you're ready to play the game instead of complain about every aspect of the game... >.>

Second, that would completely defeat the purpose. The reason Autofill exists is to make sure whatever role has the fewest people queued up for it gets filled. If you could just exclude that role, then it would do nothing.
Mr Voidling1 votesWell to be fair some people are fine with playing every role except 1 particular role(usually Jungle for me). Rather than having a dodger in my game, or the typical "can I mid?", I'd rather wait 20-60 more seconds and get everybody to be content with their role. Heck, I'd be fine with a "I don't care how long it takes, I ONLY want to play this role" option, just so I get enjoyable games when I do play. People say it'd make queue times longer, but it'd reduce a ton of negatives to improve the quality of games and champion select.
Ideally I would want a priority bar for each role: None, Low, Medium, High, Max. And you just adjust it for each role, so I could put Mid and Sup as Max Priority(or Sup as high if I am really feeling Mid, and vice versa), ADC + Top as Medium, and then Jungle as None. Even with autofill enabled that would at least show which players are more suited for specific roles, as the "low priority" is more suited then a "no priority", and would then be selected(You would know you're the best jungler on your team, no basis for trash talking :P). I can't imagine 9/10 or 10/10 people all boycotting 1 role, but I'd rather wait then have them forced to play it and get a cruddy teammate.
