Maya always wanted to become a great mage, but lacked the magical capabilities to do so. She couldn't learn from

for help. With his help, Maya obtained two hextech equipment; the magic-casting staff, Hextech M1S7AK3-1, and the mana-stealing gauntlet, Hextech M1S7AK3-2. With these two tools, Maya begins her journey as an awesome mage, kind-of...
**Design: ** Maya is a melee, energy-using yordle that steals mana from her enemies and uses it against them. Her abilities allow her to consume energy to gain mana to enter an overloaded state. She has three stages: Normal state, where she has no mana and only energy, Stagnate state, where she has some mana, and Overloaded state, where her abilities become destructive.
Abilities: Passive - Maya's abilities steal (base + # based on AP) mana from her enemies. If they do not have mana, Hextech M1S7AK3-2 will steal life instead and convert it into mana, dealing (base + # based on AP) bonus magic damage.
When Maya becomes Overloaded, her abilities will cost mana instead of energy and does not steal any mana. When she leaves combat, all her excess mana will slowly disappear.
Q - Maya fires her gauntlet in a line, piercing through enemies and stopping on the first enemy champion hit, draining mana and dealing (base + # based on AP) magic damage from every enemy hit. The gauntlet stays on the enemy champion, draining mana and dealing (base + # based on AP) magic damage every second for # seconds.
Overloaded: The enemy champion is pulled and takes the pierce damage and the full duration of the link damage instead.
W - Maya powers up Hextech M1S7AK3-2 and punches with her next auto attack, dealing (base + # based on AP) bonus magic damage and drains mana.
Overloaded: Maya powers up Hextech M1S7AK3-1 and whacks down with her next auto attack, dealing (more base + higher # based on AP). The surrounding enemies take (base + # based on AP) bonus magic damage from the impact.
E - Maya blinks to the target location, stealing mana from the surrounding enemies.
Overloaded: Maya deals (base + # based on AP) magic damage instead.
R - Maya channels for up to # seconds, consuming up all her mana and energy. The damage, radius (capped), and range (capped) increases based on the amount of mana and energy consumed. When channel is ended, unleashes a destructive explosion.
Overloaded: Maya instantly consumes all Overloaded mana at the start of the channel, adding to the overall damage, radius, and range.
Closing Remarks:
Numbers can always be tweaked, so I imagine Maya being weak while in the Normal and Stagnate state, but strong in the Overloaded state. The Overloaded state should take a bit of effort to obtain, so the player has to take into consideration when is the right time to go in.
I tried to be creative when thinking of this champion, exploring concepts I have not seen in League (Energy-Mana Stealing Mage Assassin? with Hook!). If Riot makes this an official champion I hope it gets a fire mage skin if people get my reference :^).
