Project League of Legends figures
Good day, dear summoners. I would like to introduce you my project but first of all few words about it. History. Part 1. The beginning. Two years ago I met my friend who share my of my interests – fantasy worlds, art, music, books and etc. Even we have huge difference in our age we became good friends. Back there I shared my intention to create beautiful items and he wished to do so for a very long time but did not have person who can support him in this. So from that moment we started to work together. I always wanted to create beautiful figures of heroes from my favorite games or films and I chose League of Legends and its great champions. It took us few weeks to decide what champion will be the first and finally it (she) was chosen. Part 2. The start of the work. Unfortunately we experienced a lot of problems at the start because my friend had a lot of old orders he needed to finish before the start of our work so I agreed with him to end those old works but he managed to start to create a model of our first figure. But still those old customers bother us for a very long time. So let’s get down to our project. It was not easy to choose first champion from LoL because there are a lot of beautiful characters, I selected three of my favorites and we stopped…..at Sona The Maven of Strings in her Guqin Sona skin. The work was very hard because of the difficulty of Sona’s dress and figure. The most problems came with her hair, tapes on dress and Etwahl (musical instrument). We had a lot of bad test figures and we wasted a lot of time trying to fix material problems. By the way the material we are using for figure is porcelain. Due to all those problems we managed to finish our first figure only at June of 2015 (we started to first figure at January-February of 2015). Part 3. The finish of the first figure and the second. So when we finished our first figure we decide to take a break after such hard work and think what champion will be the second. By accident my friend saw Sivir the Battle Mistress from some images I wished to share with him, and (to my surprise) he asked me to choose her as our second figure. I was thinking about Sivir but not as second figure but I wanted him to do character he liked. So from that time we started to create our second figure. It took us much less time than before because we did not have so many problems as we had in the past. And finally in three months we finished not only our second figure but we were able to create two different figures for Sivir. Part 4. The future of our project and upcoming figure. The future of our project mostly depends how people will like our figurines and feedback we will receive. We really hope to continue to work and create the figures of LoL’s great champions but as you can see it is taking a lot of time (and money). Right now we are receiving mixed feedback from people unfortunately because of our medium quality photos I made. I really would like to apologize for it because I am not professional photographer and right now those photos are best a can provide right now. In time when collection will increase in numbers we will hire pro-photographer who can provide good photos. So we decide to choose our third champion almost instantly and our next figure (most likely two figures with different poses) – is Ahri the Nine-Talied fox in her classic skin. Those two figures will be complete only in February or March of 2016 due to New Year orders. Part 5. Final words and photos. So here are my final words. We would be glad to hear any opinions and any feedback you can provide and again I apologize for a quality of photos. Here are photos of our figures. Dimensions: 31 x 20 x 20 cm (height – width – length) (consider the size of the stand). - for standing Sivir and almost the same for Sona.
