Champion Concept : Surrak, Caller of the Hunt
Hey guys, today i want to show you my thoughts about a champion, which is based on an actual character from the MtG Universe: Surrak Dragonclaw.
In MtG Surrak is the leader of an nomadic tribe called the Temur. He's an ambitious Hunter and in Leage he is going to be a jungler. He is a tall, beefy man, with long dark hair and a scruffy, dark beard. He wears a thick, brimmed leather armor, made out of the skins of the greatest prey Surrak has made. His main weapons are two short-swords, made of the bones of the Dragons, who murdered his kinship. Surrak hunted those beats and acquired their bones as a keepsake. In addition to those blades, he wields the Spear of his ancestors, a sacral weapon used over generations to hunt down the biggest beasts a man can kill.
I want to show you the abitlity set I made up for him:
Passive: Pathfinder - Surrak reveals the footsteps of his opponents. Their movement will create a trace of footsteps behind them, which are only visible for Surrak and last 2 sec.
Q: Wild Ambush - Surrak focuses on his prey, getting movement speed and giving his next basic hit a 25% damage boost and a 25% slow. Wild Ambush will trigger on-hit abilitys. (like 8 sec. cooldown)
W: Call of the Wildman - Surrak releases a shattering scream, reducing the amror and magic resistance of nearby foes and giving himself a life-regeneration boost for each enemy hit. (like 15 sec. cooldown )
E: Predation - Surrak marks an enemy champion or a monster (jungle) with the "Mark of the Hunter", revealing the target for 8 sec. and boosting the movement speed of allied champions, moving up to the marked target for 15% and increasing their damage dealt to the marked target for 10% as well. When a target which is marked with "Mark of the Hunter" dies, it will drop a Powerup called "Booty", which can only be pickud up by Surrak, healing im over time and resetting his cooldown on "Predation" for 75% of the current cooldown, up to an minimum of 3 sec. The "Booty" Powerup disappears after 10 sec.
R: Impale - Surrak targets an enemy champion or monster with his spear, channeling the ability for .5 sec. When he throws his Spear at the target it may leave an area 50% bigger than "Impales" actual range. If the target does not leave the area, Impale will deal true Damage to the target , rooting it for 2,5 sec. If the target does not leave the area, Surraks Spear will hit the ground and can be picked up again. When Surrak does, the cooldown is fully reset. When a monster is hit by Impale, the damage is increased and the cooldown is halved. ( like 60-70 sec. cooldown.)
