Such a disappointing day.

For many of us who are waiting for our mains to get a new skin I can say today was very disappointing.

The skin selections have disheartened us so many times this year and previous years.

Taliyah Has 2 skins. Both are blue and look really similar. One of them is release skin and the other was selected by an esport player. Despite her popularity this year, she hasn't received a non release, non esport skin which she is starving for.

Zyra A popular champion who has so much potential for new skins, but received really shitty skins and her latest was mediocre and underwhelming.

TahmKench Has two skin despite his popularity which is insane by the way.

Kalista Only has release skins and 2 esport skins. She isn't really popular only because the balance team cannot figure our how to balance her.

Ivern and Ornn they only have release skins despite the fact that they have potential for more.

RekSai and Kindred Only have two skins each which were really old and low quality.

Now what really made me feel disappointed is this.

Pyke and Zoe Both received new skins in less than a year of their release while other champs been 2-4 years with no new content.

Lulu Received two skins in one year not too far from each other.

Kaisa Received two skins in one patch and 5 months after her release.

Soraka Received two skins back to back. The "variation" is literally a skin because it gives the champion a new model.

Jhin Received not one, not two, BUT THREE skins in one year. THREE!!

And all what we who are waiting for skins have been hearing is this:

"Esports don't affect skin schedule"

REALLY? So Jhin gets three skins because his SKT didn't count, but Taliyah got her thematic skin iceboxed because she received SSG? Or in better terms you haven't released a non esport skin for her yet, but you claim esport skins don't count?

"Popular champions get skins"

Zyra and TahmKench are popular and still haven't gotten a good quality skin.. Which make me feel that "Popular champions get skins" is a BS thing to tell us just to make us feel like our mains aren't worth the love.

"Every champion will get a skin"

We keep hearing this non stop, but no actions about it. All we get Ahri Ezreal MissFortune Lux Lulu Skins. Don't you think we will get sick of waiting and being told to be patient when a year, two years passes by? It's discouraging. I shows that it's not about what the consumers want, but more about profit because Ahri Ezreal MissFortune Lux Lulu not only advertised highly, but played by people who will buy anything you give them.

All I'm saying the skin team is doing an amazing job with their skins lately. Every project they do is better and better, but it's disheartening when champions who need skins aren't receiving any.

I agree, with everything that you are stating. Riot should release skins for champs that are played a lot, but to not release skins for any other champs is stupid. Zilean a champ not used a lot, but still used in worlds hasn't gotten a new skin in so many years. My favourite champ Vel'koz, hasn't received a skin in 3 years I think, he received his last skin sometime in 2015 or 2016. Even then, the Vel'koz skin they did release didn't even have particle changing effects, sure it's funny, but thats all. Now I don't want to seem greedy but I've been waiting a long time for Vel'koz to receive a Kraken skin, and sure someones going to do some kind of hent** stuff with it but, people already do that with all the other champs so I don't see how that should stop them. back to the real issue, you my good sir are completely right as Riot should have to keep their promise of releasing a skin for champs who need them. Riot, only now late 2018, are finally releasing skins for champs that came out 2 to 3 years ago.

And the Sivir skin... knocked her up to 11 skins. 12 is the most ANY champ has(Ez & MF). Poor Rek'Sai been waiting 3.5 years. The longest of any 2 skin champ.

And yet I'm still upset that "the star child", the most core healer character with arguably the most magic girl esk personality didnt recieve legendary treatment in the Star Guardian skin line, despite the story fitting perfectly to her.

I swear League skins are just a popularity contest at this point...

Basically Riot releases a new champ or rework, if its under powered they will buff it then slightly nerf it to keep the champions popularity which then they immediately hard nerf them. Its a surprising constant recurrence. One includes the new skins for Akali and Kai'sa. They were OP / broken so they released "Prestige" version skins to get people to buy them and now they are being nerfed.

Milk them till they aren't worth anymore
