Hextech Singed reskin?

So a lot of champions have hextech skins and they are beautiful and cool. Singed has one as well but it looks like it was made in season 2. A reskin of Hextech Singed to make it modern and more like the other hextech skins would be awesome!

They won't remake skins individually, so Singed has to get a full blown VGU to have his skin updated. As does Janna and Anivia.

Which is kinda sad, tbh. The Hextech skin line is clearly defined now that they finally pinned down Piltover aesthetically, with the blue crystals and all that stuff. And these old Hextech skins (Sion, Singed, Anivia, Janna) are completely contradicting what this skin line is about now.

It is unlikely, but I wish they would make an seperated update to bring these skins in line. Especially since Sion was already updated, but unfortunately it happened before Hextech was as fleshed out as it is now.

Sion is about the only one on this list where I would see this as a valid suggestion, since he was fully updated not too long ago.

The others though, they're ancient and old. Singed technically got a model update, but it was such a half-assed VU that he still desperately needs a full blown VGU. Janna and Anivia just need new everything. Maybe not so much in terms of kits, but they definitely need their models updated completely to be with modern standards. I mean, Anivia's now the sibling of Ornn and Volibear now. She's a straight up bird, while Ornn is a dwarf with horns. Her visuals definitely need overhauling to fit the new Frejordian demigod aesthetic.

This whole process would take several years, tho.

That's why I would like to do this as a seperated thing. Hell, they could tie it in with a new champion release, for example. Remember when they released Pyke and we got these Bilgewater inspired "Dark Water" skins alongside him with a big event to celebrate this? If they are going to introduce another Hextech based champion from Piltover, they could have such an event, too, and update the old Hextech skins alongside it.

Except not really. Skins are built around the skeleton of the champion that contains all their animations and movements, called their rigging. Singed's current rigging is probably about 8-10 years old at current, because he was one of the original champions in the game. This is seen in his dance where he basically has a seizure in a circle, and his very minimal and clunky movement animations and complete lack of a crit hit animation. Compare that to someone like Neeko, who's rigging is less than a year old, and has all of the current up to date animations, fluid movements, and overall a broader range of behavior exhibited through her model. Given that Singed (and Janna and Anivia) are so old in terms of their rigging, they have a much greater chance of being completely overhauled sooner than later. It doesn't make any sense at all to update single skins on these champions, skins that aren't even in the shop at current, when that work would be undone completely when they would receive a future VGU. It's like driving a piece of garbage car. You don't spend money to get a new paint job, tinted windows, leather seats when your car is so bad it's prone to constant breakdowns and other forms of disrepair. You simply buy a new car and then go through with those upgrades.

They are old, agreed. They need an update, also agreed.

But this process would still take some years to happen, since not a single one of these champions is currently considered as a high priority target for an update.

Neither for a complete VGU, nor for an Ezreal type of update. When Rioters were asked which champions are on the table for these right now, they never got mentioned, at all. If we look how many champions are considered to be urgent cases, then look at the speed at which Riot is updating their content, then it seems fair to assume that it would take some years before we can expect updates for these champions to happen.

There are alot of old champions in this game and quite some are worse than these with a Hextech skin.
