It works well, but I noticed an old post of mine from the old GD was broken by this. It was a link to a Gist on Github, just pasted into the post like so: http://www.google.com

I had to change it to use the brackets and parentheses to hyperlink it like this. I'm not sure if that's just a problem with old GD posts, or if a new thread would have the same affect. But, if the problem still exists, my suggestion would be to add some sort of check to stray links, before assuming that they're something that can be embedded, so they don't just get turned into a blank space. Maybe check the file extension from the URL (i.e. .jpg, .png, etc can be embeded, but .html or a lack of extension can not) This can be done in the JavaScript for the page, directly in the function that replaces the links now.

Hey, so...now embedding doesn't work for Docs at all. It's cool that you added the optional functionality, but you also removed the former permanent functionality.

Are you able to include both aspects of the experience, or does one nullify the other?
