Red Tracker Links go to base discussion, not specfic comment.

I noticed while looking through meddler's recent Q&A links that the red tracker is NOT going to specific comments but only the root topic.

If you go to the red tracker and hover over the individual links, you'll see it takes you to the address without the comment extension on it.
