Champion Concepts is literally the biggest "ha-ha" that Riot can have

Dear Riot Games,

I look at the Champion Concepts area of the boards and I weep. There are people in this community that dedicate hours of their lives per day to make art and backstory for their champion concepts. And for what? You aren't gonna use the concepts and turn them into a champ. I have never seen a red post on a champion concept either!

So what we're left with is two things. First, I understand that you can't use these concepts because of copyrights and because they might not fit into this new retconned lore. And second, I get that these concepts would require balancing and developing. But isn't that your job? And there are clearly people here willing to make champions to put into the game.

And so, I say that either "Champion Concepts" is removed from the boards, or that you change you Terms of Agreement and rethink your philosophy when it comes to something like this. Obviously not every champ will make it into the game. But there are some really, REALLY good concepts that people spend hours working on.

Riot, if you're going to keep Champion Concepts, put a sticky at the top of the boards that will be a disclaimer: Riot will never use these concepts. I wanna see how many people you will disappoint. And if you can't find the time to do that, just remove it from the boards all together. Allow people to fantasize about their concepts in their heads, because that's basically what people here are doing in any case. Just don't let this futility continue in the boards.

Honestly, the people that populate the Champion Concepts should probably just form a Role Playing group. I mean, what they really love is making character sheets, so why not find a Role Playing system that can be adapted for League's stats and use their concepts there?

Why woudl my champion concepts be copyright? :O i never said i wanted anything in return if they use it... :) The fact that they did use them would be reward enough for me...but thats just me XP I indeed understand that none of my work will ever get into the game...though i did have a shimmer of hope, knowing that thresh and ekko where partially based on fanmade concepts....i'll await riots responce to this...

I am disgusted. I've written numerous concepts, and put hours into my work, trying to catch Riots attention, trying to help them, trying to show to myself that I can get somewhere with this, for I had thought it a talent.

 But now I find out that the hours I spent working, typing, hoping, and waiting were all wasted, because this company is lazy, and seems to have no pity for those who waste their time, thinking that if they can just get the right formula, the right stats, maybe the next champion they make, or the one after that, that they can maybe get it in the game. And then they spit in their face and laugh, as all these aspiring champion creators get trampled on, by the hopelessness of what they assume is their failure, but is really the failure of an incompetent company management who doesn't give a second thought towards those who care about what they do.

 I am appalled Riot that you can claim you care about your community when you treat like this. Congratulations, you are nothing more than a another bigheaded company who doesn't care about what lies they tell the public.
