Hey i wanted to see if this was right
A soon as the s4 reset happened i started my placement matches, my Season 3 mmr was a bad Bronze 3 but this season i won 8 out of the 10 matches and was placed in Bronze 2. I dont know what to say. Im disappointed...
MackleDoge1 votesBecause it was a soft reset you were playing against people close to or below your MMR for your placement matches, you were supposed to win the majority of them. The placement match results are very low in determining anything, your season 3 MMR and pre-season MMR are much more influential, that is why you got B2.

MackleDoge1 votesIt is a bit unfortunate yes, but in the long run it'll even out the distribution of the ranked population so 70% shouldn't be stuck in Bronze. You've got the right spirit though, just keep playing and having fun and the progression in ranked will come.

MackleDoge1 votesCurrently your MMR is at 1035 which is upper Bronze range, so that is a bit abnormal unless you did really well in pre-season, in which case it was working with that higher leveled MMR and paired you with people around there instead. If you happened to duoque any of your placement matches with someone of a higher MMR that could have also influenced it. Either way, the way it should work is if you are being paired against that level of players that is the level of player you are playing as, so technically speaking, the tougher the match the better.
