How to sort chronologically?

So I have the boards set to show recent posts, but how do I make it so it actually shows the newest threads? I hate this reddit clone, I always avoided reddit.

Set it on New....

Filter by "New," at the top of the page when you're viewing threads.

Setting it on new shows the most recent threads, but not the most recent posts. This is stupid.
