Banning Spectators

After I join a custom game to spectate. Almost fifty percent of the the time I will get banned and will no longer be able to watch the game. Players have either said "Ban" shortly after I enter their room or say directly; "You do not belong here." Am I missing something here? I don't mean any harm, all I would like to do is watch them play. It is like watching football. Yet, others do not allow.

This leads me to ask, how do you feel about spectate? Why do you think players won't allow spectators?

I think there are ways to prevent those problems in the first place. They can use passwords and set their custom game to "none" under spectator. I got creeped out one time when someone randomly popped into a bot lobby I had set up for practice. Forgot to use a password that time. I wasn't rude to them, I just deleted the room and made another.
