I think it's really awesome that these boards allow players to communicate with League fans outside of their region of play. As with Reddit, sometimes I want to have a private conversation about League with a player from another region, but I can't add them in game. Does anybody know if the ability to message other players via these boards will become a thing, or if that causes too many logistical issues?
Daen1 votesI don't really know what is going to become a feature on the Boards any more, the high-level design goals seem to be random streams of consciousness at this point.
That being said, this is a feature I would really like to see. The ability to message people privately on this platform (or, even better, a connection between the Boards and the League client) is really important, and I agree with you that it's a bit of a pain to deal with this facet of the Boards in its current state.

Daen1 votesIn my opinion the logical next steps are making the search bar have an actual use and allowing Discussion and Chronological views to work together properly, as should have already been core functionality when the previous forums were archived.
I do agree though, private messaging would be fantastic.
