Why so much hate?...

I'm new to the whole boards thing but why is there soooo much hate towards riot?? Like yeah I get that some of you guys are disappointed that not everything you want is happening right away but DAMN give them a break. They let us play such a great game for FREE... ofc there will be problems and things wont alwats happen when we want, but they are doing SO MUCH, giving us new champs, great skins, fixing old champs, balance the current 'meta' champs, and so much more. But you all would rather just complain that we haven't got a Taric,urgot,shen,poppy update and etc, you guys act like they aren't working on it at all... It takes time guys, Just be patient and we will be reward.

Anything Riot does (or doesn't do) will make some people happy and piss off others. The angry ones are more vocal about it.

Try to imagine people hating on EA after a poor product release, where EA ignored player feedback. The idea is laughable. People would joke about how EA sucking is just business as usual, and move on.

That is so say, people rage at Riot because they hate to be let down. Because unlike pretty much every other gaming company, people (rightfully) believe that Riot genuinely wants to listen to its player base and do the right thing. And because Riot has successfully done this before, they have high hopes that Riot will do it again.

So when Riot messes up, they feel let down, betrayed. Nothing hurts worse than betrayal by someone you admire. The forums happen to be the best outlet for this hurt and anger. Or at least the most visible one.

People like to hate things that don't actually matter so they can vent frustration built up from real life problems.

Everyone hates the police. Riot acts like police, judge, jury and executioner. They're awful people and the only saving grace is they have a game that's not horrible.

Only reason i have ever hated on riot i think is what i will call the unfixable problem called attempting to reconnect :P other than that im gratefull for everything else about the game. Personally i dont bitch about balance and such cause its not really that is ever going to hundred percent fixed so no reason to blame riot for it :) I might post on player behaviour but never on small stuff to riot cause they have more important problems to take care of than fixing a champ or balancing the game i just suck much of that up

Riot doesn't give a dam about you, just what's in your wallet. And "Great game" is a bit generous....Passable free to play MOBA with a terrible player base might be more accurate.
