Why are Game tournaments being deleted from ESPORTS if they are technically competitive events?

I posted a tournament thread to allow people to sign up. While it's not a Riot ESPORTS event it's still an esports event that the community can play in and it's for all ranks etc. Just not clear as to why things are getting deleted when they technically are in the correct category.

I posted it in Miscellaneous and it got downvoted to hell. Put it in esports and it got upvoted and a lot of people signed up.
