Can some changes be done to thread content preview by pointer over topic?

Some sections are indeed filled with trash and certain threads have some of the most pointless content, the current setup is to have the content of the thread previewed by a few seconds, can this get extended by a 10 or more seconds?

Why? because it's rather unfruitful to give such posters view counts creating a sense of curiosity for the rest of the people who browse through, some threads deserve to be looked at in preview and then simply down voted to allow a finer filtering of shitposts.
