Feedback Poll + General Issues

I think that the feedback poll that was recently put on the League of Legends client is definitely a step in the right direction, and if no one has participated or knows about it, I have provided a link. In general, I think that most of the community board can agree that sometimes Riot workers do not pay attention to the community's wants and needs. However, this is in part of what I believe to be two things. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Riot, and I am just using my basic human ethics to deduce this.

As we all know, the League of Legends community is most likely one of the most toxic ones around for video games. Getting mad and having discussion titles that are full of anger which say you'll never play League again and you hate the new HUD tell me when the old one is back, those are not going to get a Rioter's attention. As a matter of fact, if I was a Riot employee, I would go out of my way to not read those topics. So please, try and be as nice and humane as possible. Then we can get our ideas across much more clearly, and there is a higher chance of a Riot staff member seeing this. I believe what I am saying is very important, and will help the community and game progress as a whole. I hope that many people see this, and I hope it gets up-voted solely so that people can see this, and as a community, we can make a change together.

I know that when someone just says something sucks and doesn't provide any feedback on why I pretty much tune out. I highly doubt Riot does things arbitrarily to make people mad, I'm sure they think they're adding something with every change they make or new feature they add.

Exactly! One of my major problems is with the fact that people treat the Riot staff, who take their time to check the boards, awfully and without any sort of decency. I just hope someone from Riot sees this so they know that there are people who care and aren't complete jerks. Amumu

I'm just trying to stahp all of this and then people will realize that this isn't the right way to get points across. Unfortunately, not many people will probably see it ;-; Oh well though, I can't say I am not trying my hardest.

Just remember, behind most childish qq threads is a legitimate frustration worth hearing. That's not to say that we expect an answer to every thread, just that some reading between the lines take place. It is my hope that we are not all being dismissed just because the most popular threads on a topic are ones that are not put as eloquently or reasonably as they could.

While that it exists, I wouldn't say League is especially toxic. I'm curious what leads you to this conclusion.

When I go onto boards, I see many people complaining about how the Tribunal system doesn't ban enough toxic people. There are tons upon tons of videos, I'm sure you have heard of the YouTube series "League of Children." Also, when Riot feels the need to remind people that when they don't argue they win more games? What other games do that? Another thing that leads me to this conclusion is the way people treat the Riot employees on the boards, getting really mad at them when they should really just be talking in a much calmer manner. Also, whenever I play any other game, I never run into as many toxic people as I have in League.

On a side note, many people I know don't play League because they have only heard about how salty the community gets.

Why is my account always be reported , then in five innings entering the game will be delayed , that's so unreasonable , I'm not hang up or run away , but the network is always dropping , and now have 20 minutes delay.My ID is shoot your hole.
