Unnoficial Bilgewater Lore Discussion? :)

I came into this part of the boards in hopes of seeing people actually being nice and respectful, but the only thing I see is complaints about Fiora, and absolutely nothing about the new lore that they have, except for one post. Can we, hopefully, make this an unofficial Bilgewater Lore response discussion? I would love to hear what everyone else thinks! Personally, I can't wait for Act Two, which I believe is tomorrow. I wonder how Aatrox, Quinn, Garen and all their skins will incorporate into this whole little feature Riot has brought to us.

And for the record, I have nothing wrong with people complaining about Fiora and her changes and whatnot. I get it, you guys don't like it. Nothing wrong with that. I was just noting how I saw next to nothing about something with so much potential right now that Riot has given us.

ANYWAYS: This is for discussing Bilgewater stuff!!! Have fun, feel free to discuss whatever, of course. Hopefully more and more people will comment and we can get this little discussion rollin'

There's been discussion, it's just a couple of days old now and people's jimmies are still rustled by, in their eyes, Riot's incompetence with the Fiora VU. Tomorrow the second act will be released and we'll have even more to discuss, so feel free to drop by tomorrow since there's likely gonna be some big talk ongoing. I know I'll be here!

I am interested in the nature of the knife that TF was hired to steal. It being in Gangplank's warehouse doesn't surprise me, since it could've been plundered from anywhere, but why the knife is special intrigues me.

I must say, after reading Act Two, Graves certainly lives up to his passive cx. I hope that this means that TF and Graves will become allies, maybe TF can get through to Graves. Also, something cool is that GP is doing exactly what his splash has him doing, slicing orange skin. Another little side question, does this mean we could get a somewhat new lore for them? Keeping the base story, of course, but I believe in TF's lore he sold out Graves so he could get experimented on by what I can only presume is Xerath, by the name.

So, I left the Boards a while back because I was tired of what felt like endless bickering.

This is turning things around. It's great to see the champions in action, interacting, and forming interesting relationships. Good stuff so far, reminds me of some of the best JoJ articles.

I expected many names for Twisted Fate. Tobias was not one of them.

Well, somehow i would expect Graves to be a lot more Cunning than they make him seem to be so far...he just comes around as some kind of ogre. I really donßt like that part of the stroy...i mean, yea - he obviously is filled with hatred and wants some sort of revenge, but come on.

I'm loving the lore mostly but there are some things that are throwing me off. The TF Graves backstory. I'm being somewhat purist here and realize that Riot wanted to go a different direction but personal opinion time. I don't like how TF didn't truly betray graves, and made an intelligent decision and Graves was just too stubborn listen. To me it's less interesting because it makes these characters less complex. TF isn't totally selfish and didn't want to leave Graves but he had to look out for himself here. This makes Graves unsympathetic to me because he is now dedicating his life to killing someone who tried to keep him from making a huge mistake. Graves is like the guy on your team that goes, "we could have totally 2v5 if you hadn't left noob." Overall I don't like this as much as the original lore's because it's a lot harder to debate who you would side with in their conflict.

Gangplank and MF are great. GP is a true monster, but has a reason for being one. His interaction with the kid you can see why he is a leader. He is rational and does value those who do right by him. His crew most likely feel that they can follow him because he won't turn his cruelty on them for no reason. MF is beautiful and the life of the party, but intelligent and very skilled based on how she interacts with the guy that followed her. Of course it seems she may have a devious and even ruthless side because she sent a child to trick GP into a trap. Lord help that kid if GP finds out, but maybe she did it cause she knows GP would never intentionally harm a child...still things we don't know.

I must ask... Bubbs is supposed to be a Yordle?

And the most important part of the new Bilgewater Update: Clams can smell colors.

Can't wait until this thread fills up with all sorts of bilgewatery theories and discussion! Glad to see it getting more love on the boards (was getting tired of the flood of threads on Fiora's update -.-). Will definitely upvote and lurk around

Im loving the lore overload from getting both act 2 today and the added stories onto the character pages. I just kind of wish MF had something added in too besides part 3 of act 2 but I guess thats just cause she's my favorite champion.

Amazing writing from the lore team though and I dont think I can wait another week for act 3

I'm honestly hoping for Graves and T.F. to become best buddies again at the end of this...or at least have Graves understand what actually happened with the heist and supposed betrayal.

I kinda hope that TF and Graves become friends at the end
